"My dad screamed--"I'll hold them off, you get out of here! I'll catch up!" I... I believed him. I thought he'd distract them and find a different way out and..."
—His son to Negan.[src]

This father is an unnamed character mentioned in Here's Negan.

Pre-Apocalypse

Virginia

Nothing is known about this man's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he lived in Virginia with his son and daughter.

Post-Apocalypse

After the start of the outbreak, the family seeked refuge in the city of Virginia, hoping to find a safe place, free of zombies.

However, after an unknown amount of time they got in a tight situation- being surrounded by zombies. The father, seeing that there was no escape for him sacrificed himself to the horde, enabling his son and daughter to escape. It is unknown if he reanimated.

An unknown time later, his children found Negan and survived with him until their deaths- his son being devoured by zombies after his sister panicked and the sister herself dying and reanimating after being bitten by a zombie.
