"You should be scared every time. Every single time you are outside those walls."
—Felix to his students.[src]

Felix Carlucci is the deuteragonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond. He was the head of security and a survival instructor for the Campus Colony of Omaha, one of three cities part of the Alliance of the Three.

Felix is described as an honorable man of his word who isn't afraid to fight for others' safety and acceptance.[1]

Lincoln, Nebraska

Felix Carlucci was born in 1990 and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska by his mother and father. At age 18, Felix was accepted to the Nebraska State University. In 2010, Felix's father struggled to find employment so Felix worked overtime at his job while at school to help pay his parent's bills. Felix began researching websites featuring career guides for his father to use to help find a job. After coming home from overtime at work, Felix was confronted by his father who had used his laptop to use the career website but ended up discovering Felix's private emails with his boyfriend. Felix was called a faggot and forced out of his home by his father. Felix then lived on campus and struggled to get by. However, one of his professors, Dr. Leopold Bennett, took him into his family to help support him. He then grew attached to the Bennett Family, including Dr. Bennett's wife, Kari Bennett, and their adopted, young daughters, Iris and Hope. They gave him a loving home and accepted him as who he was.

Lincoln, Nebraska

In the fall of 2010, just as Felix turned 20, the outbreak went global. Felix was at the University during "The Night the Sky Fell," when a passenger plane crashed into the streets of Lincoln during outbreak. Kari Bennett was killed in the chaos, but Dr. Leo Bennett was able to rescue Iris and Hope and bring them to the University where the military would keep them safe.

Two weeks after the global outbreak, the U.S. Military began to napalm all major cities in the United States, including Lincoln, in accordance with Operation Cobalt. Felix felt that he needed to be with his family in the end and went through the streets of Omaha while they were being bombed. He attempted to call his family, but all major communications failed. He finally managed to reach his home to help them, but his father and mother kept the door locked, turned off the lights, and claimed they didn't need his help and still rejected him. Felix cried on their porch and then later returned to the University. Shortly after, both his parents would succumb to the outbreak.

At the University, Dr. Leopold Bennett became the leader and they established a community at the university, now known as the Campus Colony. A military safe-zone established in Omaha survived and connected with the Campus Colony. Sometime after, the Omaha Safe-Zone and Campus Colony came into contact with the Civic Republic, another community with an unknown place of origin, but had established a connection with a safe-zone in Portland, Oregon. With Omaha, and the Campus Colony, agreeing to join the CRM, they became a part of the Alliance of the Three.

Felix later became a security officer for the community and became an instructor in survival and combat. At some point, he met Will Campbell and developed a romantic relationship with him. The Civic Republic then requested the scientific knowledge of Leo Bennett, causing him to be taken to an unknown location. Will was assigned to escort Leo to the classified location as the head of his security detail. Knowing Felix would miss him, Will left behind his jacket for him. After Leo and Will departed, Leo was able to send messages to his daughters and Felix via fax machine.

Cliff Carlucci

Before Cliff knew about Felix's sexuality they had normal father/son relationship. His son had to step up after his father was unemployed. However, after Cliff found out his son was gay, he kicked him out of his house and disown him as a son. At the beginning of the outbreak, Cliff still wanted nothing to do with him.

A decade later, Felix returned to the house finding his father has turned. Felix was unable to put him down, showing that he might still care about his father despite how his father felt towards him.

Leopold Bennett

Leopold was one of Felix's teachers before the apocalypse, they seem to have a close friendship as Leopold took him after his father kicked him out.

Leopold seems to trust Felix as he left him in charge of looking after his daughters after he was taken by Civic Republic.

Hope Bennett

Felix knew Hope before the apocalypse as her parents took him in after he was kicked out of his house by his father.

They survived together for a decade at the Campus Colony. After her father was taken by the Civil Republic, he was put in charge of looking after her and her sister. They seem to have a rocky relationship as Felix seem to see Hope as a troublemaker and has locked her up a few times.

After Hope and Iris go out to find their father, Felix quickly assumed that this was all Hope's idea as he set out to find them.

Iris Bennett

Felix knew Iris before the apocalypse as her parents took him in after he was kicked out of his house by his father.

They survived together for a decade at the Campus Colony. After her father was taken by the Civil Republic, he was put in charge of looking after her and her sister. They seem to have a decent relationship as Felix seem to see Iris as the good sister.

When Iris and Hope went out to find their father, Felix quickly went out to find them.

Jennifer Mallick

Jennifer and Felix have good relationship and have great trust in each other as they go out on a scout together. Felix also told Jennifer about Leopold sending secret faxes which is strictly against the Civil Republic rules, showing that he trust her to keep the secrets.

After Hope and Iris disappeared, Jennifer was the only person he trust to take with him.

However, Jennifer's relationship with Felix is mostly a facade, as she is revealed to be a spy for the CRM. She has no problem cutting his leg when he is fighting an empty and Jennifer's notebook reveals she considers the rest of the group, Felix included, to be expendable. Despite this, Jennifer does care about Felix to a degree, as she opted to injure rather than kill him in order to separate him from Hope. Later, when Felix confronts her about her spying, Jennifer urges him to leave with Iris in the truck so he wouldn't get hurt. In their subsequent fight, Jennifer gains the upper hand and is prepared to kill Felix, although admittedly after some hesitation.
