Pecan Grove
The pecan grove is a location seen in Season 4 of AMC 's The Walking Dead
Pre-Apocalypse [ ] The pecan grove contained numerous trees that grew pecans along with a house for the caretaker.
Post-Apocalypse [ ] Upon escaping the prison, Carol , Tyreese , Lizzie , Mika , and Judith followed a set of railroad tracks when they eventually came upon a pecan grove with a house. Carol and Tyreese clear the house so they and the girls can stay for a few days before moving on. Unfortunately Lizzie grew more unhinged to the point she murdered her own sister and was about to kill Baby Judith until she was calmly talked out of it by Carol. Realizing they can't press on with Lizzie out of fear for their lives as well as Baby Judith's, Carol tearfully puts Lizzie down with a bullet to the back of the head in a patch of flowers on the property. Afterwards, Lizzie is buried next to Mika, and Carol, Tyreese, and Judith leave the pecan grove.
