Fitz is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is a guard in Spencer-Lee Dryden's group.

At some point after the outbreak began, Fitz became a guard in Dryden's group.

"Exodus"[]
When Ashley Duart escapes her trailer in Dryden's camp and attacks Spencer-Lee, Fitz and another guard investigate the commotion. Fitz spots Ash and calls out to her but she quickly raises Dryden's police special and fires one shot into his neck, causing him to whiplash, and slip onto his back in the mud, his AR-15 assault rifle flying out of his hands. He quickly bleeds out and dies.
John Stack uses Fitz's AR-15 to fight off the other guards before escaping.
