Lay your weapon on the ground.
―Franco upon meeting Rick Grimes.[src]

Franco (first name unknown) is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a police officer at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Pre-Apocalypse

Atlanta, Georgia

Nothing is known about Franco's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was an officer for the Atlanta Police Department.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 5

"Coda"

Officer Franco and his partner Officer McGinley find Rick Grimes on the top level of a parking garage the hospital uses. Rick explains that they have some of their colleagues hostage and would like to exchange them for Beth Greene and Carol Peletier, who have been taken captive by the hospital. Franco informs his lieutenant Dawn Lerner of the situation and brings Rick's group and the officers to the hospital. He joins his fellow officers during the hostage exchange and witnesses the deaths of Dawn and Beth. He remains behind at the hospital with the Dr. Steven Edwards, the patients, and the other officers.

Season 9
