Franklin is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a soldier of the U.S. Military.

Almost nothing is known about Franklin's life before or as the outbreak began except that he served in the Army National Guard.

Franklin was a passenger in a helicopter along with Welles and Sean. After being caught in wind turbulence which caused a malfunction, the helicopter erupted in a small explosions and lost control, As the helicopter lost control, Franklin hit his head inside the helicopter. He was stuck in the helicopter as it crashed into the woods and was killed by the impact of the crash.

The helicopter that Franklin is riding in suffers mechanical problems, causing it to crash in the woods, cutting through the trees.
Franklin dies from the impact of the crash, possibly due to internal injuries.
