Gael and two of his bandits drive their Jeep on the highway until they stop after reaching several abandoned cars. He and his men start searching the cars for supplies and murders an elderly gentleman begging for water in his car. After Nick's radio goes off revealing his presence, Gael and his men shoot their guns at Nick, who is able to escape. A day later, Gael and his men encounter Nick once more, covered in blood and walking among the undead. Gael recognizes Nick and drops his bullets from his gun in surprise.
