Gemma is among the residents gathered in the town square, cheering and clapping as the Alcázar convoy arrives with Guillermo in the lead vehicle. Standing near Gustavo and several others, she is surprised when an upset Jaime starts yelling at Guillermo and watches as Sergio and an Alcázar soldier take him away. The next night, Gemma attends dinner in the town square with many neighbors and friends.

"Contrabando"

Gemma is mentioned by Doña Marga when she speaks with Fede about her patients. Marga mentions that Gemma's water broke, to which Fede encourages Marga to be with Gemma and not to worry about her other patients. When Carol and Antonio check on Roberto, Doña Lupe informs them that Marga is tending to Gemma as she begins to give birth.
