George is a character first encountered in Issue 175 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a soldier of the Commonwealth.
Pre-Apocalypse
Location Unknown
Nothing is known about George's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible that he had some military or police experience.
Post-Apocalypse
At some point, George made his way to the Commonwealth and joined the Commonwealth Army.
New World Order
In Issue 176 whilst the survivors are waiting to be interviewed by Pamela Milton the group of soldiers who met up with them return after fighting the swarm and not sleeping for the past three days. Among them is George who speaks to Lance Hornsby about how it went. He said that they only had to reposition twice. Not long later in Issue 177 George is seen still in the changing rooms talking to Mercer about over throwing the Commonwealth, to which Siddiq overhears.
Rest In Peace
George is among the soldiers that listen to Mercer's call to overthrow the Commonwealth leadership. He doesn't join Mercer's rebellion, however. Later, when Rufus asks him if they're biding their time, George tells him to keep his mouth shut. When he leaves the locker room, he is greeted by Laura.
