Gilbert is a survivor of the outbreak and later an antagonist in AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. He is a resident of the Nest.

"La Gentillesse Des Étrangers"[]
As Daryl leads Laurent in a self-defense training course on the shores of the Mont-Saint-Michel, Gilbert approaches them, informing that Laurent has been summoned back to the Nest for philosophy lessons. He also informs Daryl that he should come back too as Losang wishes to speak with him. After returning to the Nest, Gilbert escorts Daryl to a meeting led by Losang where the Union of Hope council discusses the Pouvoir's recent activity.
"L'Invisible"[]
Gilbert brings breakfast to Sylvie, who is being kept confined to her room after discovering Laurent was never kidnapped from the Nest. After speaking to her, Gilbert prepares to leave but is attacked by Sylvie who uses a chain necklace to choke him before slamming his head against the door, knocking him out. Later, Gilbert, with bruises on his face and neck, attends the ceremony but is forced to flee after Daryl, Isabelle, and Fallou disrupt the ceremony, causing chaos as everyone panics and flees to safety.
"Vouloir, C'est Pouvoir"[]
Gilbert is among the followers to accompany Losang to the Montmartre Rooftop Community in search of Laurent. While searching homes for the young boy, he and the others are distracted by Fallou when he takes a female Guerrier hostage. After not finding Laurent at the rooftop camp, Gilbert and the rest of his group leave. They eventually arrive at the Demimonde nightclub and continue their search for Laurent. Upon Jacinta spotting Daryl and Laurent fleeing on a walkway above the dance floor, Gilbert and the others follow and discover a passageway into the Catacombs of Paris. Gilbert splits off with Losang and Valon while the others search a different direction. Shortly after, Valon and Gilbert are killed by Daryl before Losang is beaten to death with a skull.
