The Fall of the Governor

When the trio of strangers arrived in Woodbury, Glenn was clearly uncomfortable. Glenn is later seen in the holding cells below the racetrack having suffered significant psychological trauma after witnessing the Governor cut off Rick's right hand and being forced to listen to the Governor brutally rape and beat Michonne twice.

Glenn was the first freed from captivity by a seemingly defecting Caesar Martínez who helped him take down the two stationed guards, Denny and Lou outside the infirmary and escaped with him, Rick, Michonne, Alice Warren and Dr. Stevens (the latter dying from unknown circumstances swiftly after leaving Woodbury).

His participation in the later conflict against the Woodbury army was limited, due to his commitment into not putting himself in danger for Maggie's sake. This commitment was nearly broken, after he narrowly avoided a barrage of gunfire while he defended the prison atop one of the front gate sniper towers. During the second assault, Glenn along with several other prison survivors are nowhere to be seen suggesting that they may have evacuated.

Glenn's story continues in the comic series. For more details see:
