Guan Jincai (Jincai Guan) is a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead: Typhoon.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
China[]
Nothing is known about Jincai's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Fongyuan village, China[]
Shortly after the outbreak, Jincai was apart of a small village community in Fongyuan. When soldiers from the Beacon of Light showed up to take young adults and children to help build their community, Jincai was one of the few to hide in the forest to avoid being taken.
Typhoon[]
After Zhu gets his truck stuck in the shallow mud two figures approach him. At first he thinks they are jiāngshī but realizes they're survivors. He calls out to them but it hit around the head with a bat by Jincai and knocked unconscious.
Jincai takes Zhu to the grove. He ties his hands behind his back and chains him to a tree, not knowing what to do with him. He tells the village elders that Zhu is from the Beacon. They agree that Zhu can't be let go or he'll lead soldiers back to them.
