"Guide" (real name unknown) is a playable character and a survivor of the outbreak in The Walking Dead: All-Stars.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Location Unknown[]
Guide and his father were always close. Because of his father, Guide wanted to be a wildlife park ranger. His mother didn't want to live in the forest anymore, so she divorced her husband. One day, two poachers were hunting despite his fathers warning. One of the poachers eventually shot Guide's father. On the hunt for the two men, he eventually found them trapped in a trap setup by his father. Despite contemplating to kill them, he decides against it, but not before beating them up a bit.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Guide's Story[]
During the apocalypse, Guide has often helped survivors who are stuck in the woods. One day Eric offers him to join Asyl. Guide accepts the invitation and heads to the settlement.
Survival Records - The Man In The Forest[]
Eric, Zoey, and Hailey go into the nearby forest to recruit Guide so that he can join Asyl.
Zoey, Guide, Hailey - Hunters[]
The trio of Zoey, Guide, and Hailey are hunting for a bear by following it's poop. Eventually they deduce where the bear's den is based off the locations of it's poop in correlation to where they are on a map. The trio go to the bear den with Guide and Zoey telling Hailey how she needs to kill the bear with her slingshot.
"Empty Road"[]
The Dispatch Manager talks to Eric, Guide, and Hailey about how someone from Virginia came up to Asyl and asked them to join their community network,
Eric, Hailey, Zoey, Kate, and Guide depart to Virginia afterwards to see if they can be a part of the community network that Paul talked about.
"Highway"[]
The group continue traveling down the road towards Virginia. They all talk about how joining the network could help Asyl strive.
"Dead Land"[]
The group reaches a farm where the scavenge for supplies. Guide comments how he wishes he could turn some of the rye from the field into a beer, something that Eric and Zoey agree with.
"Ownerless Farm"[]
The group continue scavenging the farm for supplies. Everyone starts to discuss what they miss most about life before the apocalypse.
"Mountinous Area"[]
The group reaches the Eden Mountains. Guide tells the group that they need to cross the mountain before winter hits, something that'll prove difficult since it is coming earlier than usual. The group notices a crashed plane in the distance and head for it.
"Crash Site"[]
The group reaches the crash site and Hailey begins to wonder if this was the plane her parents were going to take to get back home right before the apocalypse. The group scavenges for supplies at the crash site. Eric eventually finds the passenger list and much to Hailey's relief sees that her parents were not on board thus giving her hope that she can still reunite with them.
"Winter"[]
The group reaches the mountain top just as it begins to heavily snow. The group decides to head back to Asyl given that the mission has become too dangerous to move forward with,
Survival Records - Promises (Part 1)[]
Guide and Hudson are hunting for a bear to bring back to Asyl to feed the community. Eventually the pair runs into Kate who is also hunting for the bear. The trio manage to track down the bear where Kate kills it with a clean shot through its lungs. Guide then offers Kate to join Asyl, which she agrees to.
Survival Records - Promises (Part 2)[]
As the trio of Guide, Kate, and Hudson are leaving the forest to get a cart to carry the bear, a fire suddenly erupts around them. The trio try to escape when they are confronted by a band of raiders. The trio fight off the raiders. Guide comments how some of the raiders suddenly dropped dead as if they had been shot from afar, and Kate comments how it's her former friend Trent who still looks after her. The trio leave the area shortly thereafter.

Eva mentions how she was supposed to go on a supply run with Eric and Guide.
Survival Records - Doing What's Right[]
Guide and Blaine are tasked with trying to bring Lang into Asyl; however, he vehemently refuses and threatens to kill the pair if they don't leave. The two of them manage to track him down until they find a zombified woman, who they find out is Lang's wife Grace. Blaine tries to reason with Lang about putting her down, but sees he's beyond reasoning and tells Guide that they should leave.

- There seems to be a discrepancy when it comes to how Guide and Kate met.
- "Promises (Part 1)" depicts how he, alongside Hudson, met Kate in the forest while tracking a bear to bring back to Asyl.
- During the main story, Guide mentions how he's known Kate since before he ever joined Asyl.
- He is one of four playable characters whose real name is unknown.
