Hector García is an original character in Telltale Games's The Walking Dead: Season Three.
Pre-Apocalypse
Location Unknown
Little is known about Hector's life before the outbreak. At the onset, the whole family (minus Javier) gathered at Rafael's house to witness his passing. Hector comforted his mother over her husband's death along with his son, remaining by her side for most of the night. When Mariana walked toward the staircase with a cup, Hector asked if she was thirsty. She simply stated that she was going to refill Rafael's cup. Mrs. García told her that she would not have to refill his cup any longer, but Mariana startlingly tells her that her grandfather was awake. Hector follows her upstairs to find his father standing in the corner of his bedroom. After removing Mariana from the room, he approaches his seemingly alive father, asking him how this was possible. Suddenly, his reanimated father attacks him, shoving him through a closet. Before Rafael could bite him, Javier and David appear to restrain Rafael, giving Hector time to escape and ensure that Kate and his son were safe. Mrs. García walks into the room, asking what was happening. David explains that Rafael had just attacked his son. Heedless of Rafael's snapping jaws, she tries to comfort her husband, only to be bitten on the cheek in the process. Stunned, she backs away into the arms of Eleanor and Javier. Javier breaks a part of the bedframe as David is nearly overwhelmed by his father, then reluctantly strikes his father as the children scream.
Post-Apocalypse
Shortly after the outbreak, Hector's father died and turned, attacking him. He was rescued in time by his family.

Hector was bit by his reanimated father. Since this took place at the beginning of the outbreak, he almost certainly died of the infection.
