Holly is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone.
Pre-Apocalypse

Nothing is known about Holly's life before or after the outbreak. It is possible she lived in or near Alexandria before the apocalypse.
Post-Apocalypse
Season 5
While Holly was never seen in Season 5, she was living in the Alexandria Safe-Zone at the time of Rick's arrival but was "quite busy" so as not to appear at the community forum regarding Rick Grimes or attend Deanna's party. According to Tara, Holly and Noah were casually flirting before Noah was killed on a supply run.
Season 6
"JSS"
Holly is seen fighting the Wolves, but is critically injured and is taken to the infirmary by Rosita Espinosa and Aaron. Though initially hesitant, Dr. Denise Cloyd attempts to perform surgery in order to remove the knife stuck in her thigh and stop the bleeding in her femoral artery, but the surgery is unsuccessful and Holly dies of blood loss.

Holly gets injured while fighting the Wolves, having an artery severed in the process. She is taken to the infirmary for surgery but eventually passes away from the blood loss.

As she leaves, Tara Chambler tells Denise to make sure to get Holly's brain. Denise makes sure that Holly won't come back off-screen.

Trivia
- In the comic series, Holly (while reanimated) kills Denise, whereas in the TV version, Denise kills Holly (albeit before reanimation).
- Holly was mentioned at least three times in Season 5 and Season 6 before finally making her only appearance in "JSS", her death episode.
