Iowa is a state in the United States of America. It is a location that appears in AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Prior to the apocalypse, Iowa was one of the 50 U.S. states.
Post-Apocalypse[]
It's unclear what happened to Iowa once the Trials began though it can be assumed it followed the example of California with local law enforcement agencies followed by the National Guard being sent in to handle the crisis with them being overrun shortly thereafter.

The Endlings come to Iowa on their way to New York and take shelter at Hvass High School. While there, Felix and Huck work on trying to change their minds and head back to Omaha. The next morning, the group departs and heads for the Mississippi River.
