Issue 12 is the twelfth issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 82. It was released on February 7, 2024.
Plot Synopsis[]
Carl and Ron dangle Morgan's recently amputated arm over a group of walkers, as Rick gets the amputated Morgan to safety.
In the infirmary, Morgan is being tended to by Denise. Rick tries to assure Morgan that he'll be okay, when Carl comes in with his gun aimed at Morgan, offering to put him down in case he dies. Morgan allows Carl to plead his case, assuming he wants to be a man. Instead, Carl only wants to do it because it's been a long time since he felt warm blood splatter on his face, says he still imagines the taste of Shane's blood. Morgan tells Rick he'd rather turn and eat his own son than let Carl kill him. Rick reminds Morgan his son is dead, to which Morgan replies "Not cool, Rick."
