Issue 18 is the eighteenth issue of The Walking Dead: The Official Magazine. The 100 page issue was released on October 18, 2016. This issue also has a variant cover illustrated by Charlie Adlard.

The Secret Diary of a Walker[]
Story[]
A Walker remembers parts of his old life: waking up next to plastic space ships, going to work at an insurance call center, getting cursed at by customers, playing D&D and Cosmic Encounter. He talks about how some of the other zombies ate a family who were having a party and used their intestines and party decorations to play games. While searching the house, the walker finds a Cosmic Encounter board game, but given his limited motor skills, he's unable to play it anymore.. The walker decides to head over the the nearby comic shop afterwards and notices two men and goes towards them before being killed himself.
