Issue 22 is the twenty-second issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 92. It was released on July 3, 2024.
Plot Synopsis[]
Rick asks Olivia if she had some of the coffee they brought back yesterday, but she says some raccoons came in through an open window and ate the whole bag. She says Abraham already knows this and is in the backyard with them. Rick runs out to see the so-called execution, only to find Abraham holding a raccoon over a coffee mug, expecting it shit out the coffee beans. Rick says that's not how it's done, but after Abraham tells him this is real rich people shit, he concedes.
Paul Monroe introduces himself to Michonne, telling her his friends call him Jesus. Michonne responds with "yikes", confusing Jesus. She asks if it's because he's some kind of post apocalyptic miracle worker or because he doesn't show up when people actually need him. Jesus cries because he thought it was because of his beard and long hair, now he's not sure.
