Issue 23 is the twenty-third issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 93. It was released on July 17, 2024.
Plot Synopsis[]
The Pirate Club discuss how Rick has been heard talking to Jesus, with them thinking that he's losing his mind again, not knowing that there is someone who goes by that name. John suggests that they should tell someone; however, Carl threatens them by reminding them what he did to his dad's best friend. Carl says in order to help his dad, they should go scavenging for supplies. While the group is arguing about the viability of even finding supplies out in the wild, a squirrell holding a bag of candy crosses them and the group goes after it. Steven catches the squirrell just as walkers begins to surround them.
