Issue 24 is the twenty-fourth issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 94. It was released on August 7, 2024.
Plot Synopsis[]
Steven is attacked by a squirrel, later revealed to be a member of Davidson's army of squirrels. Davidson introduces himself to the kids and states that he's never felt freer than living out ion the wild as opposed to how he used to live when he was in Alexandria. He asks the kids if they're hungry, which they all reply enthusiastically reply yes. One of Davidson's squirrels, Gertrude, brings the kids the corpse of another squirrel, Emily, for them to eat. Davidson states that he isn't surprised by the fact that Gertrude brought them Emily as she has been "lazy in recent week". The kids look at the Emily's corpse, ready to eat it, much to Carl's horror.
