Issue 28 is the twenty-eight issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead: Small Bites, featured exclusively in the Deluxe edition of Issue 98. It was released on October 2, 2024.
Plot Synopsis[]
During the ongoing battle with the Saviors, Abraham is shot and killed by Dwight, greatly upsetting Eugene who had been taken captive. In retaliation, Eugene bites Dwight's crotch. As Walkers begin to approach, Dwight orders the other Saviors to retreat. Rick orders everyone to clear out the walkers, then get their revenge afterwards. While all for clearing out the walkers, Nicholas points out that they're the ones who started this. Glenn tells him to worry about the walkers and not let the Saviors regroup or they're screwed. Dwight rides off telling them they're screwed either way.
