Jeff is an original character who first appeared in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season One as a zombie. He is a resident of Crawford led by Crawford Oberson and is a guard for this community.
Pre-Apocalypse
Savannah, Georgia
Nothing is known about Jeff's life before the outbreak. He possibly lived in Savannah, Georgia prior to the outbreak.
Post-Apocalypse
Season 1
At some point after the outbreak, Jeff became a member of the Crawford community under the leadership of Crawford Oberson. The community lasted for a few months before a woman within the community pilfered a weapon and began shooting several residents of Crawford in revenge for the community's cruel behavior to survivors with special conditions. Jeff was presumably killed by walkers soon after this.
"Around Every Corner"
Jeff is first seen by Lee and Kenny while attempting to sneak into Crawford. Lee and Kenny recognize him from behind as a surviving human, but as Lee approaches him, they realize he is a walker. After Lee kills him with either a hatchet or his Glock 17, the group then learns that Crawford has fallen from being overrun by the undead.

At some point during the outbreak, when Crawford was overrun, Jeff was attacked by walkers. This can be backed up due to his missing eye. Eventually, he reanimated as a walker.
- Lee Everett (Zombified)
Before Lee could take out the man, the man turned around and spotted Lee. He attempted to attack him, but Lee managed to raise his hatchet and slash the undead man in the head. If not using the hatchet, the player can also approach quickly with a pistol, and can order the "guard" to surrender, but he will reveal himself to be a walker. This will cause Lee to fire several shots into the man; one in the head, and two more into the body.
