Jesse Szewczyk-Przygocki is a character mentioned in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is Althea's brother.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Location Unknown[]

Nothing is known about Jesse's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a sister named Althea and Polish parents who decided to double-barrel their last name.

Post-Apocalypse[]

At some point after the outbreak began, Jesse died of unknown causes. Al was off chasing a story involving the National Guard and Army shooting at each other in the chaos. As a result, she was filled with guilt that she chose the story over her brother and wasn't there for him.

Season 5[]

"The End of Everything"[]

While searching for the tape Al made on Beckett, Isabelle finds a tape labeled "The Bog #7," the tape Al had been making at the time of Jesse's death. Al tells Isabelle about Beckett and later has Isabelle take the tape with her to ensure that Jesse is never forgotten.

Trivia[]

  • Jesse, along with his sister Althea Szewczyk-Przygocki, are the only characters in The Walking Dead franchise to have a double-barreled last name.
  • Jesse's existence is hinted at in "MM 54" when Al tells Sarah to go be with her brother, that there will come a time when she won't get to be with him although it's not now, and to "trust me, it's harder than you think".
