Jesus' Sword is a sword that originally belonged to Paul "Jesus" Rovia. After his death, Aaron took possession of it.

Post-Apocalypse[]

At some point, Jesus adopted this sword as his weapon, using it against walkers. During a battle in a cemetery, Jesus uses it to kill numerous walkers until he's killed from behind by a Whisperer.

After Jesus' death, Aaron takes up possession of his sword, using it in combination with Aaron's Prosthetic Arm at first. However, after switching out his wooden hand attachment for a mace attachment, Aaron abandons his use of the sword in favor of the mace.

Following the defeat of Lance Hornsby, Aaron permanently switches back to his wooden hand attachment and Aaron begins using Jesus' sword as his primary weapon once again. During the Battle for the Commonwealth, Aaron uses the sword to hold off walkers the Coalition and the Commonwealth Army enact a plan to destroy the massive herd overrunning the Commonwealth.

Killed Victims[]

The following is a list of victims killed with the sword:

Trivia[]

  • Ross Marquand confirmed that the sword that Aaron currently wields had once belonged to Paul Rovia.[1] He stated: "(...) it's sort of a ceremonial sword for him. Angela [Kang] and I both discussed it, and I said I don't think that he would just retire that sword. I think he would use that sword especially in very, very important battles, not only as a way of honoring Jesus, and everything that he taught Aaron, but also because it's a way of connecting the past the future. I think he held a great deal of reverence and friendship for Jesus, and that sword is a wonderful way of him continuing that tradition."
    • Aaron did a similar symbolic gesture when Eric died, and carried his gun from "Monsters" until the Saviors were defeated in "Wrath".
