Beau Bryce's Militia from the Atlanta Medical Center show up at Moreland looking for children and survivors to kidnap as test subjects for their research into a cure. Several survivors from Moreland including Joel and Haddie Kenworth are kidnapped and taken back to Atlanta to be experimented on.
Search and Destroy[]
Almost six months later, the Medical Center is attacked by Thomas Dupree and the Sixteenth Street IKEA group. Unaware of who the attackers are, Cooper Steeves tries to save some of his people but is seemingly unsuccessful as the building is overrun by walkers. It can be assumed Joel was either devoured by the dead or shot by Bryce's men while attempting to escape.
