Joey, formerly known as Skinny Joey, is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Saviors.

Nothing is known about Joey's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Post-Apocalypse[]

At some point in the apocalypse, Joey somehow came into contact with a group named "the Saviors" which he subsequently joined.
Joey aided his group in terrorizing other survivors and communities around the area into subjugating to Negan's will, where their victims would be forced to give half their supplies in exchange for not being murdered.
Season 8[]
"Some Guy"[]
Joey is outside with Yago's group when he is told to search Carol Peletier to see if she has any melee weapons. This causes him to be captured by Carol and he begs Yago and the others not to shoot him. Yago doesn't follow his pleas and both Yago and his squad of Saviors shoot Joey in an attempt to kill Carol.

After being captured by Carol, Joey begs his comrades not to shoot but Yago ignores his pleas and ends up shooting Joey to death alongside his men in an attempt to kill Carol, who escapes. His body is likely devoured by the walkers that are let inside the compound.
