Johnny is a survivor of the outbreak in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a resident of the Hilltop Colony, alongside his mother Brianna.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Location Unknown[]
Almost nothing is known about Johnny's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a mother. He also had a sister, aunt, uncle, great-aunt, and a father who he lost to the undead. It is possible he lived near or at the Hilltop Colony before the outbreak.
Post-Apocalypse[]

Johnny is first seen among the crowd after witnessing Rick Grimes killing Ethan.
What Comes After[]
Johnny is mentioned by Brianna, while chatting with Maggie Greene.
March To War[]
Johnny is seen playing with Sophia during the events of this volume.
The Whisperer War[]
As the Hilltop mansion burns, everyone inside evacuates the house. Carl helps Johnny carry an unconscious Brianna to safety. Part of the house explodes behind them and Carl is knocked to the ground. Johnny continues to get his mother to safety as Carl falls unconscious.
Rest In Peace[]
Johnny is not seen or mentioned in the 23 year time-skip, leaving his fate unknown.

- Despite being first introduced in Issue 95, Johnny's name wasn't revealed until Issue 153.
- Johnny not only has a similar name to Josh, but he also bears a striking resemblance to him as well.
