Josephine is a character mentioned in AMC's The Walking Dead. She is a former member of Abraham Ford's original group.

Nothing is known about Josephine's life prior to or as the outbreak began, other than that she was a member of Abraham Ford, Rosita Espinosa, and Eugene Porter's group. She was supposedly very loyal to Eugene, since she presumably sacrificed herself, so the group could get to Washington, D.C.

After Eugene admits to Abraham, Rosita, Tara Chambler, Maggie Greene, and Glenn Rhee that he is not a scientist and does not know the cure to the cause of the zombie apocalypse, Rosita remarks that a lot of people died trying to make sure Eugene made it to Washington, D.C. Josephine is mentioned (along with Stephanie, Warren, Pam, Rex, Roger, Josiah, Dirk, and Bob Stookey) as the many people that died.
