Juan is a survivor of the outbreak first encountered in "Sicut Cervus" in AMC's Fear The Walking Dead.

Pre-Apocalypse

Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California

Nothing is known about Juan's life except that he lived in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California. His mother may have worked for the Abigail family as she is being kept in the cellar as an reanimated zombie. His father does not live with Juan or his mother, as he was mentioned by Sofia to be in the city of La Paz.

Post-Apocalypse

Season 2

"Sicut Cervus"

Juan is playing football outside when Strand and the group arrive at the vineyard. Sofia beckons Juan over to the group so he can introduce himself. Later that night, Daniel witnesses Juan carrying a puppy and dropping it down a chute leading to the wine cellar. Alarmed by what Juan has done, he follows the boy to the wine cellar. Juan is encountered speaking to someone until Daniel asks what he is doing. Juan reveals a number of zombies in a cell, introducing one of them as his mother to Daniel. It is from this interaction that Daniel concludes Juan is unaware of the danger and severity of the zombie outbreak.

"Shiva"

Juan is sitting outside with Alicia after the house wakes up to the gunshot that killed Thomas Abigail. After the compound goes up in flames, he was able to escape with Sofia and the other survivors.

"Grotesque"

After the Abigail vineyard burns down, Sofia and Juan go their separate ways. They find Nick in a house with the corpses of people they once knew. As Sofia and Nick discuss their next course of action, Juan plays with his soccer ball outside, preparing to travel to La Paz to find his father.
