Nothing is known about this man's life prior to the outbreak, aside from that he was taking either temporary or permanent residency in the abandoned church, the same place both Nick and Gloria were getting high in.
Post-Apocalypse[]

Nick wakes up from his failed overdose attempt and starts to look for Gloria. In his search he finds this man with his neck ripped open. This makes him search for Gloria more urgently.
Later, when Travis goes to investigate the church, this man's body is nowhere to be found thus indicating that he had reanimated.

Nick stumbles upon the infected Gloria, who has bitten and began to devour this junkie. Later, his body is gone when Travis returns to investigate, indicating that he reanimated and his zombified body left the church.
