- He is the first character to debut in the fifth compendium.
- Kapoor bears a striking resemblance to Rick Grimes. Whether or not this was intentional is currently unknown.
- He also appears to wield a Colt Python, which happens to be Rick Grimes' signature weapon in the TV Series.
- Both characters are also police-officers before the apocalypse, although Rick was a sheriff's deputy rather than a sheriff.
