Kenny, I love you very much. I love our son more than life itself. I need you to hear me. What you are saying, that he may not turn, is foolish.

Overview

Determined and resilient, Katjaa is a pillar of strength and voice of reason for Kenny when matters arise. Katjaa is one of the characters whose personality experiences a drastic change due to the events that occur from "A New Day" to "Long Road Ahead".

In the beginning, Katjaa is portrayed as a kind and caring lady who, due to her experience as a mother, bonds with Clementine upon first meeting. While Lee explores the environment, she is often seen spending time with Clementine and Duck. When Lee has important matters to attend to, Katjaa offers to take care of her.

In sharp contrast to her husband, Katjaa is a pacifist who rarely displays aggression or violence. Even when Larry threatens to throw her son out onto the streets to the walkers, Katjaa does not argue back to him, only asking Lee to help defuse the situation. She bears no grudge towards anyone and is assumed to be on good terms with the rest of the members in the group.

Unlike Kenny who is often worried and paranoid about the safety of his family, Katjaa seems to be more calm, collected, hopeful, and optimistic about the situation. She believes that the zombie apocalypse is only a temporary matter, and expresses hope that things will be taken care of sooner or later. It is this trait of hers that eventually keeps her family together and prevents Kenny from acting out impulsively. Due to her background in veterinary medicine, Katjaa is often looked at to treat the injured, making her the de-facto doctor of the group.

In "Starved For Help", Katjaa becomes a blunt person who retains some of her optimism and trusting nature. However, she becomes accustomed to her new reality and understands that things may never change for the better. Her new personality is displayed when stating that Travis/David Parker would have never survived their wounds despite her best efforts to save them.

In "Long Road Ahead", she is seen arguing with Kenny about how everyone carries around guns and other weapons, trying to preserve the group's humanity. After Duck is bitten, she loses the remaining optimism and hope she still had. Despite that, Katjaa retains her calmness and is determined on finding a cure for Duck. She gradually accepts that there is truly no cure for a bitten survivor and persuades her husband to put their son down.

Ben's betrayal and the subsequent events extract a heavy toll on Katjaa's emotional well-being. Overwhelmed with immense grief and depression, Katjaa commits suicide when she finds herself unable to handle the imminent death of her son. It is unknown if Katjaa planned to commit suicide or if she did it impulsively.

Pre-Apocalypse

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Before the outbreak, Katjaa worked as a veterinarian and lived with her husband, Kenny and her son, Duck, in Fort Lauderdale. Katjaa emigrated with her family from Belgium to America when she was young. After graduating, she started working in a vet's office, and received her license a few years later. During the beginning of her training, she regularly practiced on domesticated animals. When she started her veterinarian office, she met Kenny when he brought in a sick octopus that needed medical help. She then merrily told an anecdote once of how the Wildlife Rescue Center would regularly bring in injured alligators to be treated before their release back into the wild. She was traveling with her husband and son from Memphis, Tennessee after visiting her sister when the outbreak started. She was at a gas station when she first encountered a zombie.

Post-Apocalypse

Season One

"A New Day"

While on a return trip from visiting her sister, the apocalypse begins, Katjaa, her husband Kenny, and their son Duck, spend the night at Hershel's Farm. Katjaa introduces herself to Lee Everett and Clementine the morning after the duo's arrival. Katjaa offers to watch Clementine as Lee and Kenny work. Lee can speak with her, where she tells Lee about her occupation as a veterinarian. She expresses her belief that the walker outbreak will be resolved by the government soon, (Determinant) eager to return to life as normal. (Determinant)

A scream from Shawn draws Katjaa from out of Hershel's house and sees Shawn and Duck being attacked by walkers. Lee and Kenny rush to save them, with Duck being saved but Shawn killed by walkers. Katjaa keeps Duck and Clementine away from Shawn's corpse after Hershel kills the walkers. Angered by Katjaa's family's role in his son's death, Hershel orders all of the survivors to leave his farm immediately. Katjaa quietly accepts his demand, following Kenny back to his truck.

Kenny drives his family and Lee and Clementine to Macon, where his truck runs out of gas just outside of Everett's Prescriptions. Kenny sees a figure and calls for help. The figure ends up being a walker and Kenny's call attract several to the area. In the chaos, Duck is attacked by a walker near the entrance of the drugstore. The walker is suddenly killed by a gunshot, saving Duck. Carley and Glenn usher the group inside.

Katjaa and Kenny take their son to a corner of the drugstore as several other survivors inside berate the pair for putting them at risk. Duck is in a catatonic state after the attack, holding still as Katjaa tries to clean him up. When Larry notices Duck covered in blood, he immediately assumes that he had been bitten and urges everyone to kill him or throw him out. Kenny and Lary argue as Katjaa continues to clean her son, asking Lee to put a stop to the argument before it upsets Duck even further. If Kenny and Lee push back against Larry, Katjaa cleans Duck and confirms to everyone that he was not bitten. (Determinant)

Thee argument is interrupted when Clementine opens the restroom door and is attacked by a walker. Carley kills the walker and Katjaa and the others all watch the front doors as the walkers outside bang on the gate. A helicopter flies overhead, firing bullets at the walkers below and drawing them away. After Larry suffers a heart episode, Katjaa asks Lilly if he needs nitroglycerin pills. Lilly confirms her suspicion, stating that they had been unable to get into the pharmacy where the pills were.

The argument settled and the danger passed, Kenny and Katjaa comfort Duck. If Lee sided against Kenny in the argument, he is initially scornful of Lee if he tries to speak to them, but Katjaa calls for Kenny to empathize will Lee and says that it had been a scary situation for all of them. When Katjaa asks Lee about whether he wants to look for his family in Macon, (Determinant) he reveals that they had owned this drugstore and had been found dead by Lilly and Larry earlier. (Determinant) Katjaa separately shares her concerns over their safety with Kenny as Lee works on getting into the pharmacy through the rest of the evening.

After Lee works with Doug to retrieve the pharmacy keys from a walker, he manages to finally enter the pharmacy, but he triggers an alarm that draws a large group of walkers to the drugstore. With the padlock having been destroyed by Lee to get the keys, the walkers are able to breach the gate. Kenny calls for Katjaa to keep Duck safe in the office while the others defend the drugstore. Katjaa hides in the office, calling for Glenn's help after Kenny leaves through the back door to retrieve his truck. Glenn manages to get Katjaa and Duck to the truck and escape the pharmacy.

The survivors set up a new camp at the Travelier Motel where Glenn had found the fuel earlier. Katjaa stays with Kenny as the two of them go through the supplies they took from the pharmacy. When Kenny, Lilly and Lee mutually decide to remain at the motel until the outbreak was resolved, the lights in the area all go out, leading Katjaa to hug her son for comfort.

"Starved For Help"

Katjaa and her family have spent three months at at the hotel. While on lookout, Lilly signals for everyone to be on alert. Katjaa crouches over Duck until Lee emerges from the woods calling for help with a wounded man. Katjaa immediately rushes over to the gate, hugging Duck as she sees that Kenny is unhurt when he, Lee and Mark enter the motel parking lot with two newcomers, Mark carrying one of them in unconscious after either accidentally shooting Travis or helping Lee amputate David's leg. Katjaa directs Mark and the uninjured newcomer Ben to put the wounded stranger down in a truck bed, shakily offering to see what she could do about treating him. Despite her limited experience working on injured humans, she immediately gets to work on trying to help stitch up his wound.

Lee can speak to Katjaa as he decides who will get rations today. If he offers her something to eat, she rejects it as she is busy trying to save her wounded patient, suggesting he give her rations to Duck. If he tries to speak to her otherwise, she asks him for help with applying pressure above her patient's wound, which he can provide or decline. Katjaa tells Lee that she had thought she had gotten used to her role as the group's doctor when treating the survivor's minor wounds but felt out of her depth dealing with such a major injury. (Determinant)

After Lee distributes all of the rations for the day, Katjaa's patient dies despite her best efforts. She calls over Lee and Kenny to let them know, making Kenny quickly storm off in frustration. Katjaa tells Lee that he never would have survived, leading him to point out that at least he was not going to be a problem for them. Katjaa asks what they were going to do about Ben, but before Lee can answer, Katjaa is attacked from behind by the patient she had just declared dead, having just reanimated. Lee immediately puts himself between the new walker and Katjaa, saving her from being bitten and keeping it at bay long enough for Carley/Larry/Mark to arrive with a weapon and kill it. (Determinant)

Kenny embraces his wife now that she is safe, but he immediately becomes angry with Ben for not telling them that his friend had arrived to the motel bitten, nearly getting his wife killed. Ben somberly informs the group that every survivor was going to reanimate after death if their brains were intact, regardless of how they died. If Lee accuses Ben of lying, Katjaa confirms that they had not been bitten, saying that it is a plausible explanation as to how there are so many walkers.

Ben explains how he and his group had discovered this reality as Katjaa listens, but the discussion is halted when Carley/Doug detects two strangers outside their fortifications. (Determinant) The pair introduce themselves as Andy and Danny St. John, two brothers from a nearby dairy farm looking for fuel to supply an electrified fence. Katjaa and the others are piqued by the offer of a trade of food for fuel, where Katjaa supports sending a small group led by Lee to the farm with the brothers to see if they were telling the truth.

About two hours later, Ben and Carley/Doug return from the farm with some biscuits for the group. (Determinant) The two of them agree to remain at the motel to guard it as Katjaa and the others go back to the farm to get a full dinner. The group arrives at the farm just in time to see Lee and Mark return from their perimeter sweep, shocked to see Mark injured with an arrow in his shoulder. Katjaa meets Brenda St. John as they both offer to tend to Mark's wound, the two of them taking him up to the house. Katjaa and Brenda treat Mark while the others settle in.

While Lee and Danny are out searching for the people who shot Mark, Katjaa leaves Mark in Brenda's care, agreeing to check on the sole remaining dairy cow in the barn. The St. John Family believes that Maybelle is sick, but Katjaa determines that the cow is actually pregnant. She and Andy monitor the cow in the barn and the children. When Lee returns to the dairy and enters the barn, he and Katjaa encourage Clementine to pet Maybelle. When Lee gives Clementine back her missing hat, Katjaa is warmed by her reaction, but says nothing. If Clementine describes the smell of the barn like "doody" to Duck, Katjaa flatly gets them to stop.

Later in the evening, the group is summoned for dinner. Duck excitedly calls for his parents and Katjaa asks for Kenny as he and Lee investigate a locked door in the barn. After Lee calls out Mark's absence, Katjaa accepts Brenda's explanation that Mark had already eaten and is resting upstairs.

While Katjaa and the others eat dinner, she stops when Lee frantically returns, not believing at first when he shouts that they were eating human meat. (Determinant) As Lee continues to implore that they are eating Mark's legs, (Determinant) Katjaa pulls Duck's plate away from him. The St. John family reveals that they are indeed eating Mark. Katjaa tries to reach out for Duck, but gets interrupted as the brothers pull out their guns and point them at all of the survivors in turn. Kenny warns Andy not to go near his family as Duck frightfully asks Katjaa for help. Everyone at the dinner table pauses when they hear Mark drag himself downstairs, then are horrified to see him with his legs amputated.

Brenda keeps Katjaa and Duck in the house as the other survivors are thrown into a meat locker in the barn, forced to continue treating the cow while Duck is held hostage. After taking Mark back upstairs, Brenda and Andy later change their minds about keeping so many survivors in the meat locker all at once, the latter telling Danny to pick one survivor to keep in the locker and kill the rest. Katjaa is morose over their plans, begging them to let her have Duck back. She tries to get Andy to stop when he takes Duck out of the house to go make sure Danny is all right.

When Brenda sees Lee standing outside of her house, she immediately grabs Katjaa and holds her hostage, ordering Lee to stay back. Lee and Katjaa alternate in pleading for Brenda to stop, making her repeatedly waver as she tries to keep her distance from an encroaching Lee. Ultimately, she tries to retreat up the stairs, but is attacked from behind by a reanimated Mark, who bites into her neck. Freed, Katjaa frantically races outside upon hearing Kenny and Andy threatening each other.

Outside, Katjaa rushes to Kenny's aid after he is shot by Andrew. She remains with Kenny as Lee tries to approach Andy on his own, frightened for Duck's safety. Carley/Doug makes it inside of the electrified fence and manages to hurt Andy from afar, (Determinant) reuniting Duck with his parents.

After Lee dispatches Andrew, Katjaa helps Kenny up and takes him back to the gate at the front of the farm. Lee prepares to leave with the others but is taunted by Andrew. If Lee decides to kill him, he kicks him into the electrified fence, leading Katjaa to embrace Duck and turn him away. The generator fails, allowing a group of walkers to breach the fence. Lee calls for Katjaa and the others to leave with him as the dairy is overrun.

Katjaa remains by Kenny's side as the survivors return to the motel. When Kenny stops, Katjaa concernedly asks how he is feeling. He says that he is fine, encouraging her and Duck to go on ahead as Lee approaches to speak to him privately. Katjaa and Duck hear a car beeping up ahead. Upon seeing it for herself, she states that the supplies can save all of them. Despite objections by some of the other members, Katjaa voices support for taking the supplies. If Lee decides to help take the supplies, Katjaa justifies it to Clementine as necessary for their survival. Regardless of whether Lee agrees to help loot the car, Katjaa takes a box of supplies to carry back to the motel.

Katjaa can be briefly seen tending to Ben's friend in Jolene's camcorder video.

"Long Road Ahead"

Katjaa first appears at the motel when Lee and Kenny return from their day's supply run, standing behind her husband outside of Lilly's room. She largely remains out of the argument between her husband and Lilly, quietly observing the discussion. Katjaa expresses some horror when Kenny announces their experience with a screaming woman in Macon during this day's supply run, shocked that he could so casually dismiss witnessing a woman's death. After Lilly snaps at Kenny with the accusation that someone was stealing from the group's supplies, Katjaa leaves with the others when she orders them out of her room. She tries to calm Kenny down before he complains loudly for Lilly to hear, then gives Lee an apologetic glance before going to follow him into the motel parking lot. Katjaa sits with Kenny on a couch in the parking lot for most of the afternoon.

(Note: All conversations involving Katjaa in the parking lot are optional.) When Lee approaches them, Katjaa expresses her discomfort with their new policy that all of the adults had to carry guns, though Kenny defends it as necessary. Katjaa is visibly annoyed when her husband implies that they might split up the group if Lilly refused to leave when the RV was ready to leave, not wanting the survivors to "turn on each other more than [they] already" had. When Lee presents the broken flashlight and asks if either of them know anything about it, Katjaa recalls that she had seen some broken glass in the parking lot near the ice machine, having forgotten to clean it up. When Lee asks if they had any pink chalk, Katjaa remarks that Clementine loved drawing with chalk.

If Carley survived "A New Day" and convinced Lee to open up to the other survivors about his past, he has the option of revealing his murder conviction to Katjaa. After pulling her aside for a private word, Lee can tell her that he had killed a man. Her reaction is level regardless of Lee's relationship with Kenny, wanting to understand why Lee would kill someone before the outbreak. After deciding that she knows enough, Katjaa asks Lee to tell her what had happened when they had been separated on the dairy, revealing that Kenny had not told her what had happened to Larry. If Lee tells her the truth of what Kenny had done, Katjaa is horrified, but suppresses her reaction as she goes back to sit with Kenny. If Lee refuses to tell her, Katjaa asks him directly if they had killed Larry, showing that she suspected the truth already but was displeased that no one had told her.

After Lee discovers the hidden stash of supplies outside the motel fortifications and brings it to Lilly's room, Katjaa is captured along with the rest of the survivors in the parking lot by a small party of bandits, held up as hostages at gunpoint. After Lilly shoots the leader from afar, Katjaa and the others scramble for cover as Lee and Carley/Doug deal with the other three bandits. (Determinant) The children follow Katjaa to cover near the ice machine as the bandits arrive in force to attack the motel, calling for help as a few bandits close in on their position. After Lee kills three of the bandits, a walker tackles Katjaa and Duck, splitting her head open on a wooden crate. After Lee shoots the walker, (Determinant) Kenny quickly goes to help them up, then ushers them back to the RV. Katjaa sits up front in the passenger seat as Kenny tries to start it, then braces when he drives them out through the walls, leaving the RV behind for good.

Katjaa later takes Duck into her lap, cradling him as she assures Kenny that she is fine despite her head injury. Kenny highlights her wound again when Carley/Doug says that they were all alive, but she again sates that she is fine. When Kenny accidentally runs over a walker and has to stop the RV, Katjaa remains in the RV despite Lilly ordering all of the adults out. She cleans and patches up her own wound during the argument outside, unaware of Lilly's incessant attempts to find out who had been stealing from the group. Katjaa is frightened by the gunshot after Lilly shoots Carley/Doug, (Determinant) asking Kenny what was happening only to be told to keep Duck away from the windows.

After the RV leaves the scene, Katjaa calls Lee up to the front of the vehicle. When Lee notices that Duck is still passed out in Katjaa's lap despite the gunshot, Katjaa lifts up her son's shirt, quietly revealing a walker bite on his side. Katjaa says that she would keep track of her son's condition as Kenny drove them toward the coast, holding onto the hope that someone had already discovered a cure. Katjaa irritably questions Lee what else they were supposed to do when he expresses uncertainty, then asks him if he could tell Clementine on their behalf. Katjaa stays with Duck and Kenny up front as Kenny drives the rest of the night.

When Kenny is forced to stop the RV with a partially derailed train in their path, everyone exits the RV. Katjaa guides a visibly depressed Duck over to a tree stump, sitting down and taking him into her lap again. As Lee goes to investigate the train, Katjaa asks if he could find some water for Duck to drink. Lee can speak to her about what had happened with Lilly, where Katjaa surprises Lee with her declaration that she would have left Lilly behind for killing one of their own. (Determinant) Lee can bring her a bottle of water and a box of animal crackers if he finds either during his search, leading to Katjaa thanking him and sharing some wistful thoughts about Duck as he sits in her lap.

As Lee and Kenny see about getting the train moving, a man named Charles who had been living in the train introduces himself to the group, giving Clementine, Duck and Ben the last of his candy. Katjaa is appreciative of his company, requesting that he stay with them after he shows some care over Duck's state. When the train is ready to leave and the survivors climb into the boxcar one by one, Katjaa carries an unconscious Duck over to the train. Katjaa informs Kenny that their son was "getting sicker" after the Clementine points out the same thing, but Kenny refuses to hear any talk of Duck dying, ordering them to get on the train as he goes up to the engine car.

Katjaa continues to care for Duck for several hours as the train moves down the tracks toward Savannah, but after Duck coughs up blood and Lee helps clean it, she decides that they were out of time. She pleadingly asks Lee to get Kenny to stop the train, holding onto her son for as long as she can. After the train stops, the survivors disembark, Katjaa tending to an unresponsive Duck alongside the boxcar. Kenny returns to her in a state of shock, not knowing what they were supposed to do. Katjaa slowly gets him to accept that they needed to prevent Duck from turning into a walker, having to shoot him in the head. Kenny and Katjaa mournfully argue over which of them should be the one to pull the trigger, Katjaa not believing her husband to be capable of doing it. Lee can offer his support to either one or offer to do it himself, the latter of which leading to Katjaa reluctantly accepting and telling Lee that he would be doing their "family a great service" as she prepares to say her goodbyes to her son. If Lee did not offer to put down Duck, Katjaa asks Lee to be with Kenny as she takes Duck away from the train, not wanting Clementine to see him die. Otherwise, Kenny goes with Katjaa into the woods to wait for Lee's arrival.

Regardless of what was decided, Katjaa- aggrieved by the impending death of her son- shoots herself in the head whether or not Kenny is with her. Kenny sobs over her corpse when he arrives with Lee, (Determinant) mournfully scorning her for saying that she could do it before killing herself instead of their son. After somberly closing her lifeless eyes, Kenny is then forced to turn his attention to Duck as he sits dying near Katjaa's corpse, taking Katjaa's gun and asking Lee what they should do. After either of them shoots Duck in the head or Kenny realizes that he cannot shoot his son and decides to leave, the two of them depart back to the train, leaving Katjaa's body alongside her son's.

The following morning, Lee finds a drawing Clementine had made of Katjaa, Kenny and Duck all together. He somberly puts it back in her backpack before Kenny can see it.

"400 Days"

Katjaa makes a cameo appearance alongside Kenny and Duck at Gil's Pitstop in the intro sequence, presumed to be a flashback to the first day of the outbreak. Katjaa is seen sitting Kenny's truck as her husband and son separately return to join her in it as well.

Season Two

"All That Remains"

Roughly two years after her death, Clementine still carries the drawing she had made of Katjaa and her family. She pulls it out of her backpack when looking for her lighter, looking at it sadly for a moment. Clementine can choose to burn the drawing when trying to keep a campfire kindled.

"No Going Back"

After Clementine is shot in the shoulder and faints, she experiences a dream where she is back on the RV with the other motel survivors after being told that Duck was bitten. In the dream, Katjaa is seen sleeping with Duck in her lap in the front of the RV.

Death

Killed By

After Duck was bitten by a walker during the bandits' raid on the motel, Katjaa takes him into the woods to deal with him when it becomes clear to her that he would not live for much longer. Bereaved with his impending death, Katjaa ultimately cannot bring herself to go on and commits suicide by shooting herself in the head before she could either witness or bring about the death of her son.

Ben later confesses that he had been the one stealing supplies from the group for the bandits, stating that they had attacked because they had thought he had reneged.

Killed Victims

This list shows the victims Katjaa has killed:

  • Tess (Indirectly Caused, Alive)
  • Elizabeth (Indirectly Caused)
  • Herself (Suicide)
  • Possibly a few zombies

Non-Canon Deaths

If Lee fails to complete certain tasks, it is possible for Katjaa to be killed. These deaths are considered non-canon and result in a game over. Lee will then re-spawn and be allowed to try again. Below is a pictorial list of when Katjaa can die.[1]

- Katjaa after Lee says Duck is going to turn (Determinant), "Long Road Ahead"

Trivia

  • Last words:
    • "Give us a moment to say goodbye?" (Offered to mercifully put down Duck)
    • "Lee, be with him?" (Suggested Kenny or Katjaa put down Duck)
  • If Lee chooses to tell Katjaa about his past but does not tell Kenny, he acts as if Lee told them both when Lilly reveals it later, hinting that he had discussed it with Katjaa at some point to decide what they should think of Lee.
  • Her Belgian ancestry can be confirmed during one of her determinant conversations with Lee in "Long Road Ahead". If the player saved Doug instead of Carley, Katjaa will say that she liked Doug and that he had spent some time in Belgium. Lee speculates that it was where she and her family originated from when she mentions the country, and Katjaa confirms it.
    • However, this seems to not always have been the case, as unused dialogue for "Starved For Help" indicates that at one point she was meant to be Latvian instead.
  • "Katja" is a pet form of the name "Katherine", and is used in languages such as German and Dutch. Given that Katjaa is Belgian, her Dutch name, implies that she and/or her family is from the Flemish part of the country, rather than the French-speaking Wallonia.
    • It should also be noted that while "Katja" isn't an uncommon name, it never gets spelled with two a's like Katjaa's name.
  • In "A New Day", if Lee remains around Clementine and Katjaa for a while, Katjaa will mention that they owned a Labrador named Franklin back in Fort Lauderdale.
    • Franklin was likely the "family dog" Kenny mentions to Lee in the meat locker in "Starved for Help".
  • Katjaa is the only character among the group that will not accept food from Lee in "Starved for Help", regardless of which food item you try to give her.
    • Carley/Doug and Lilly can also refuse, however Carley/Doug will accept if you give them the apple, and Lilly will accept food if you side with her in the earlier argument, or you can choose to insist on giving her food anyway when she refuses if you didn't side with her.
  • Katjaa is the first of eight characters Cissy Jones has voiced. The others are Jolene, Linda, Brie, Dee, Shel, Norma and Vanessa.
  • Katjaa is one of seven named characters to commit suicide in the Telltale Games series. The others are Irene, Jenny Pitcher, Chuck, Jane (Determinant), Sophia Fairbanks, and Gabriel García (Determinant).
  • Katjaa is the only member of her family to have only one possible death scene (albeit off-screen), as well as the only one to not be determinant.
  • Katjaa generally tended to remain out of conflicts, even ones involving Kenny.
    • She remains silent when Hershel expels her and family off his farm.
    • She stays quiet for most of the argument between Kenny and Larry at the drugstore, only speaking up occasionally to say that Duck was not bitten as she cleans him of a walker's blood.
      • If Lee sides with Larry, she desperately defends her son as soon as she finishes cleaning him.
    • She does not get involved in the argument between Kenny and Lilly over bringing Ben and his unconscious companion back to the motel with them, solely focused on tending to his wounds.
    • She does not speak as Lee and Larry argue over dinner at the St. John farm, only hesitantly trying to broach something with Kenny on the side. (Determinant)
    • She does not get involved in the argument over whether or not to leave the motel, only speaking once after Kenny brings up Lee's decision over a screaming woman in Macon.
    • She remains in the RV when Lilly orders everyone out to force a vote on whether or not to expel Ben, treating her own wound instead.
    • She sends Lee to convince Kenny to stop the train despite knowing he was in denial over Duck's impending death.
