Kayla is a character first encountered in Issue 177 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Commonwealth and has a relationship with Sebastian Milton.

Nothing is known about Kayla's life before or as the outbreak began. She may have lived in or near Ohio.
Post-Apocalypse
New World Order
Kayla is first seen with Sebastian outside the Commonwealth. Their encounter is interrupted by Mercer, who steps in to save them several roamers. Kayla is outraged that Sebastian had Mercer watching him, she runs back to the Commonwealth in anger.

Kayla is Sebastian's girlfriend, while the two were having sex, she was outraged when learning he had Mercer watching them. It's implied that Sebastian isn't faithful to her and has numerous other "girlfriends". It can be assumed that she broke up with him before or after he killed Rick.
Mercer
Kayla seems to have a distaste for Mercer, as she sees him as perverted for watching over her and Sebastian getting intimate with each other, despite Mercer only doing so to ensure their safety. She doesn't seem to be grateful in the slightest for Mercer saving their lives.
