Pre-Apocalypse[]
New Orleans, Louisiana[]
Nothing is known about Krista's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she and her husband owned a dentist's office.
Post-Apocalypse[]
In the onset of the outbreak, she and her husband took refuge in a community in the 9th ward. One day on a scouting mission, they were ambushed.

Part Five: Meet the Prescotts[]
Krista and her husband Jack, hearing Sarah Bennett's radio broadcast, come to beg Sarah and Sebastian for help. Sebastian, being rather wary about them not knowing if they're hostile or possibly infected, refuses to open the door but later recants after pressure from Sarah.
Krista explains to Sarah that she and Jack joined up with a group in the 9th Ward but were attacked by a group of hostile survivors and were the only two who made it out alive, though Jack was injured.
Part 6: Jack's Back[]
Krista mourns over her dead husband. Wishing they could've had the life they always dreamed about. Not knowing that the dead come back her husband turns and bites her on the arm.

As Krista is mourning her dead husband, Jack reanimates and bites her on the arm. When Sebastian prepares to put down the undead Jack, Krista steps in between them, resulting in Sebastian accidentally axing her in the neck. She is later put down by Sebastian before reanimation.
