Rad!
Glenn after witnessing Lee using the axe for the very first time[src]

Lee's Fire Axe is a fire axe used by Lee Everett as his primary weapon in the early months of the outbreak in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Before the outbreak, the axe serves as the fire axe of the Travelier Motel.

Post-Apocalypse[]

While trying to rescue Irene, Lee Everett, Carley and Glenn use a series of objects around the Travelier Motel to put down the walkers gathered there. After Lee loses his awl while putting down the last walker, Glenn points him to the motel's fire axe as a replacement weapon. Lee uses it to put down the walkers outside of Irene's room and to break the boards blocking the door.

After returning to the Everett Pharmacy Drugstore, Lee uses his new fire axe to break the padlock on the front gate and then to put his zombified brother down. As walkers overrun the pharmacy, Kenny borrows the axe in case he encounters any walkers while getting his truck. If Kenny returns to help Lee after he's assaulted by Larry, he uses Lee's axe to put down the walker that's attacking him.

Over the next three months, Lee hangs on to the fire axe as his primary weapon. After encountering Ben Paul, Travis and David Parker, Lee can choose to use his fire axe to amputate David's leg in an effort to save his life. Upon returning to the motel, Lee lends it to either Larry or Mark for their efforts on increasing the motel's fortifications. When Travis/David dies and reanimates, Mark/Larry uses the fire axe to put them down if Carley had died in the pharmacy and Doug survived instead.

On St. John's Dairy Farm, Lee uses the axe to clear walkers off of the electrified fence, even chopping the hands off of one that had gotten stuck to the fence itself. However, all of Lee's possessions are taken from him after the revelation that the St. John family are cannibals, including his fire axe. Lee doesn't retrieve his fire axe after escaping and it is left abandoned somewhere on the farm as the farm is overrun by walkers.

Subsequently, Lee mostly forgoes the use of melee weapons entirely in favor of guns.
