Leland Burress is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is a member of Patrick's convoy and founder of the group. He is described to be a heavyset man with ham-hock-sized fists.
Pre-Apocalypse
Jacksonville, Florida
Not much is known about Leland's life before or as the outbreak began. All that is known is that he was a gun shop owner from Jacksonville who lived in a trailer park with his wife.
Post-Apocalypse
When the outbreak started, Leland decided to follow his instincts to keep moving. He eventually ran into a few survivors and started the convoy.
