"Listen Up" is the second episode of The Walking Dead: Destinies and the second part of "Welcome to the Apocalypse".
Synopsis[]
Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes was shot in the line of duty; his childhood friend and partner, Shane Walsh, was at his side. As Shane desperately called for help, Rick slipped into a coma. Rick awoke in a hospital to find the world forever changed - and ruled by the dead. He returns to his neighborhood, desperately searching for his wife Lori and son Carl.
Plot[]
Rick heads back to his neighborhood in search of his wife and son. Upon returning, he spots a zombified man, but mistakes him for living. He is nearly attacked by the walker, but is saved by a man named Morgan Jones. Rick explains his situation to Morgan and afterwards, gets dressed. Morgan gives Rick instructions and tips over the radio to help him kill walkers. Rick makes it to the abandoned police cruiser and broadcasts a message over the radio, which is responded to by a female individual, but the reception causes them to break up, however Rick is able to hear that they are located outside Atlanta.

- This is one of the five episodes to not share a title with an episode of the TV Series. The others being "Life Worth Living", "Overrun", "Haunted", and "Take Care of Each Other".
- The title of this episode, "Listen Up", refers to Morgan telling Rick he needs to listen up if this is the first time he's hearing about walkers.
