This little girl was living in community established at a museum with her parents and the rest of their group when the undead got inside and the museum community fell. She hid within a sculpture while the rest of her group members were killed by the undead. Eventually the blood-covered girl left the museum and followed her undead parents around, wandering aimlessly and keeping quiet. She wound up among a group of zombies converging on the Gen-Klor Chemicals plant as Rick Grimes attempted his escape from the Civic Republic Military. While trying to climb down a sewer, the girl's undead father bit him on the arm before being put down. Nearby was the girl hiding behind the mother as they approached Rick. With the mother put down, the little girl was exposed and she let out a scream upon coming face-to-face with Rick, prompting Pearl Thorne to quickly dispatch the group of zombies, saving Rick and the little girl. Pearl comforted the girl and reassured her that Rick was not a bad person as helicopter evac was called to bring her to the Civic Republic. Once rescued, the girl shared details of what happened to her group to which Pearl later shared with Rick.
