The man who set all this up... he drove trucks. Just like that one. (...) His way of giving people something to believe in. (...) He's gone. But we're trying to keep what he did alive. We are trying to turn it into something more.
―Luciana to Dylan about Clayton's mission.[src]

Luciana Galvez, affectionately referred to as Lucy, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. She is a former resident and scout of La Colonia, a survivor community in Tijuana, Baja California. Luciana is also the former girlfriend of Nick Clark. She is a former resident of the Broke Jaw Ranch community, until she leaves Nick due to becoming disillusioned with the community.

Sometime after, Luciana reunites with Madison's group and becomes a resident of the Dell Diamond Baseball Stadium community. She is currently a member of Morgan's group.

Pre-Apocalypse

Tijuana, Baja California

Not much is known about Luciana's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she probably lived in Tijuana, Baja California, or its proximity with her parents and brother, Pablo. Her father died of unknown causes long before the apocalypse. Some point before the outbreak, Luciana had worked at a factory with her brother Pablo.

Post-Apocalypse

Immediately after the apocalypse broke out, Pablo and Luciana lost contact with their mother. Pablo went searching after her, but eventually found her deceased and reanimated. After they confirmed the death of their mother, Luciana stayed with Pablo and sought comfort from him. At some point after the outbreak, Luciana and Pablo joined La Colonia, with both of them eventually serving as scouts of the community. Luciana even reached the position to be the right-hand woman of La Colonia's leader, Alejandro Nuñez.

Season 2

"Grotesque"

Luciana and two men watch Nick Clark, a lone survivor, through binoculars as he travels down the road with a herd zombies, struggling to keep up. Eventually, Nick falls to the ground, dehydrated and exhausted. Francisco, one of the men, insists on saving him, but Luciana refuses. He tells her that Nick is dying, and she changes her mind.

At a barber shop in Tijuana, Nick wraps his wound with duct tape. Luciana and Francisco approach him and ask if he's infected. Nick assures them it's just a dog bite. They give him water to drink and Luciana invites him to come with them.

"Los Muertos"

In Colonia, Nick sees Alejandro inject an elderly man with medication. Alejandro confers with Luciana. Nick cleans bloody bandages at a faucet. Luciana enlists Nick to help her in a mission. They walk down a Tijuana street. Nick asks Luciana about a man who sacrificed himself to the Infected earlier that day. Luciana says that the dying sacrifice themselves to the Dead and that once the Dead are gone, the world will be renewed. Nick questions whether Alejandro was actually bitten, since he hadn’t turned. Luciana says she saw it happen.

Nick and Luciana arrive at a supermarket guarded by local gangsters. Luciana gives the leader, Marco, a bag of medication. In return, she receives a shopping cart. She says the deal was for two carts, but Marco says it’s now only one. Nick and Luciana enter the supermarket to shop for supplies.

"Pablo & Jessica"

In the courtyard, Luciana is shown playing soccer with kids. Nick joins the game. Francisco arrives and tells Alejandro that they found someone torn in pieces. "They found him — Pablo," Luciana realizes. Nick and Luciana leave Colonia to make the drug trade. Luciana explains that Pablo was her brother. Nick hugs her as she cries.

Nick teaches himself Spanish in his trailer. Luciana stops by and asks Nick about his family. He tells her that he lost his father relating that, "We've all lost someone." Luciana wakes up on Nick's bed and apologizes for falling asleep. She starts to leave but Nick stops her. They kiss.

"Pillar of Salt"

Reynaldo stops by Nick's trailer to inform Luciana that Francisco and his family snuck out of La Colonia. Reynaldo refuses to make the upcoming Oxy trade without Francisco. Nick volunteers himself and Luciana to make the trade so that the community can have water.

Nick and Luciana inform Alejandro that Francisco left La Colonia. "No thank you, no goodbye," Alejandro says bitterly. He asks Luciana to speak with the scouts to boost morale in the wake of Francisco's departure. Alejandro addresses his people at the church and urges them to keep their faith in him and in the safety of their home. Afterwards, he questions Luciana's loyalty for neglecting to speak with the scouts immediately. He forbids her and Nick from doing the drug trade, despite Nick's fears that Marco will come for them if he doesn't receive his Oxy.

In Nick's trailer, Luciana worries about Alejandro's mental state. Nick insists that they make the drug trade anyway, but Luciana refuses to disobey Alejandro. Luciana talks to scouts outside Nick's trailer. She notices a look on Nick's face. He insists nothing is wrong.

"Wrath"

In the middle of the night, Nick sneaks out of bed with Luciana and meets Reynaldo. They skulk into the infirmary and steal OxyContin. At daylight, they pass through the bus out of La Colonia to deliver the drugs to Marco.

Nick tells Luciana that Marco's gang is about to attack La Colonia and apologizes for sneaking away. At the infirmary, Nick and Luciana brief Alejandro on Marco's impending assault. Nick urges Alejandro to vacate La Colonia immediately. The debate is interrupted by a patient who has turned. The infected attacks and, in the ensuing scuffle, Alejandro and two others are bitten. Nick kills the infected by pressing his fingers through the eyeballs, into the brain. Alejandro gapes at the bite on his arm, but he assures Nick and Luciana that he will be fine.

Nick packs a bag in his trailer and tells Luciana they must leave, refusing to believe that faith will protect them from Marco's gang. Alejandro stops by. Nick orders Alejandro to tell Luciana his secret. Alejandro admits that he is not immune to infected bites, explaining that the bite on his neck actually came from the boy he was trying to save, not from an infected. Luciana reels from the news. Nick begs Luciana to come with him. She refuses, saying La Colonia is her home.

"North"

Luciana dresses Alejandro's bite wound. He tells her he's dying. She orders him to lie to the townspeople to keep their faith intact. As she is walking, Nick follows her and begs Luciana to leave La Colonia with him. She continues to refuse, "We're going to meet our fate," she says. "Do what you do, Nick. Run."

Although he leaves, Nick returns to La Colonia and goes to Alejandro in his trailer. Nick says he saw a medevac helicopter land in a camp near the border and urges Alejandro to give the villagers permission to flee. Nick says he and Luciana can lead the villagers north. Then he and Luciana lead the villagers toward the U.S. border.

Nick, Luciana, and the Colonists arrive at the border crossing. A plume of smoke rises in the distance. Through binoculars, Nick sees the medevac helicopter leaving a refugee camp. An armed survivor suddenly pops up from behind an abandoned vehicle and shoots Luciana, then the entire armed group emerges and open fire onto the Colonists. Nick and Luciana hide behind a booth but are captured by one of the attackers.

The armed men separate Nick and Luciana and shove them to the ground.

Season 3

"Eye of the Beholder"

After the events of "North", Soldiers bring Travis to a barrack and measure his height and weight. Travis watches as soldiers shoot a prisoner in a bathroom and write a number on his head. He's then taken to a holding area full of people, where he sees Nick along with a wounded Luciana. Travis sidles over to Nick and quietly informs him that Madison and Alicia are also at the depot, and that they will figure out a way to escape.

In the storage room, Troy questions Travis about his connection to Madison, and his ethnicity. He's impressed by Travis' Maori "warrior" heritage. Travis tells Troy that Luciana is dying and requires immediate medical attention. Troy shrugs and declares that "everyone here dies", and orders Travis to sit.

Meanwhile, a fellow prisoner, Steven, asks Travis to help plan an escape. Their conversation is interrupted when soldiers take them to the "lab." Travis, Nick, Luciana, Steven and a few others sit in a line as the next victim is dragged to the wall and shot. Willy and his comrade bet on which corpse will turn first. Travis convinces them to shoot him next, instead of Nick, claiming that Maori don't turn. As they chain him up, he attacks Willy and throws the other soldier at a freshly turned Infected. Travis, Nick, Luciana, and Steven escape in the chaos.

Troy tells Madison that they're getting ready to evacuate the depot. He offers to release Travis if she and Alicia travel home with him. They hear a gunshot outside. Troy runs out of the office and locks the door behind him. His men fire at Luciana, Nick, Travis and Steven as they flee the barrack. The soldiers are gaining on them, so Travis tells Nick and Luciana to go on without him, and he stays behind. Steven leads Nick and Luciana to a sewer grate. Nick helps Luciana down, then follows behind her. Steven is shot up by the soldiers before he can descend. Willy slits Steven's throat, and throws his body into the sewer, ensuring that he will turn and find Nick and Luciana.

Nick and Luciana make their way through sewer tunnels. Luciana urges Nick to leave her so that he can go on unburdened. He refuses and tells Luciana he will never leave her behind. Nick kicks down another sewer grate only to find a horde of Infected on the other side. He and Luciana flee back inside the tunnel. The horde follows.

Undead Steven attacks Nick in the tunnel. Alicia hears Nick's cries, and follows the sound to the sewer grate. She peers down and sees Nick and Luciana below. Steven is on top of Nick and about to bite him. Alicia drops her knife down and Luciana puts down the undead Stephen. However, Soldiers apprehend Alicia before she can reconnect with her brother. Madison and Jake hear gunshots nearby. The infected Nick and Luciana encountered have emerged from the sewer and breached the barracks. The soldiers scramble to keep them back. The compound has been compromised, and chaos ensues.

Madison and Nick fight the infected, while Travis and Alicia help Luciana into a helicopter. Troy arrives in a truck and urges Madison and Nick to hop on board. The helicopter takes off with Travis, Alicia, and Luciana while Madison and Nick depart in a truck with Troy. Troy tells Madison that they're all going to the same destination.

"The New Frontier"

At night, the helicopter pilot, Charlene, navigates toward the ranch with Jake by her side. Travis and Alicia tend to Luciana in the back. Jake wonders whether or not to gain more altitude, but decides against it. Out of nowhere, a round of bullets hits the chopper. As the chopper tries to evade the gunfire, Travis is shot and realizes he was shot in the stomach, and the bullet came out through his neck. Unable to do much else, Travis falls out of the helicopter to his death. As they arrive at Broke Jaw Ranch, Nick refuses to stay at the ranch, but Madison reminds him that this is their best shot at medical treatment for Luciana. Troy's father, Jeremiah Otto, introduces himself to Madison and Nick and orders the guard to let them in. Otto shows Madison and Nick around the ranch and explains that he initially started the camp to prepare for the fall of democracy.

Back at their camp, Alicia tells Jake that Luciana is unconscious.  She is worried that they won't make it back to the ranch in time to save her. They decide to carry her together. Some hours later, a ranch guard looks through his binoculars and sees Jake and Alicia carrying Luciana toward the gate.

Madison joyfully reunites with Alicia. She looks for Travis, then falls to her knees with grief upon realizing that Travis is gone. Troy predicts that Luciana will soon die and takes out his gun to put her down. Nick begs him not to shoot, but Troy explains it's their policy to keep dying patients out of the infirmary in case they turn. Nick offers to be the one to kill Luciana and Troy hands him his gun. Nick then turns the gun on Troy and demands Luciana receive treatment. Otto intervenes and agrees to treat Luciana in the infirmary if Nick hands back the gun and provided she has a pulse. Nick complies and Luciana is taken to the infirmary. Nick stands by Luciana's side in the infirmary. He checks in with Alicia and holds her as she weeps over Travis' death.

"TEOTWAWKI"

Luciana is taken care by Nick at the infirmary. Luciana insists they leave the ranch as soon as she’s feeling better. Nick tells her, "I just want us all to feel safe in one place. I had a chance to make that happen. I had a chance to kill him." Luciana insists that wouldn't have made them safe and says Nick is not a killer.

Madison visits Luciana in the infirmary and asks about her wound, which is getting better. Luciana thanks her for waiting for her to heal before they leave. "I'm sorry for Travis," she said. "He saved my life." Madison insists he was a good man who saved them all. She explains that she doesn’t want to leave the ranch because Travis died trying to bring them there.

"Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame"

Nick brings breakfast to Luciana in their bunkhouse. She insists they leave the ranch and search for old companions of hers residing in various prohibition tunnels in Mexicali. Nick hesitates because of his family, but relents and promises to leave with her once she's healthy enough to travel.

Later that evening, Nick takes Luciana on a candlelit picnic inside the burned ruins of Russell's house. He informs her about rebuilding the house and how beautiful it could be, but Luciana doesn't buy into Nick's prospects of a potential future at the ranch. As Nick takes notices of her negative expression, Luciana kisses him for false reassurance. Sometime in the night, Luciana leaves Nick and departs for Mexicali, leaving nothing behind but a letter for him.

"Sleigh Ride"

During Madison's dream sequence, she sees Luciana with Nick overlooking Alicia's grave. Nick and Luciana appear to be together and Luciana holds a baby. However, she does not say anything to Madison. When she tries to follow Nick and Luciana, they ignore her and drive off.

Season 4

"What's Your Story?"

After somehow reuniting with Nick and his group after the Gonzalez Dam explosion, Luciana appears, alongside Nick, Strand and Alicia, ambushing Morgan, John, and Althea on the road.

"Another Day in the Diamond"

In the past, Luciana, Alicia, Strand and Nick wake up at their new home in a baseball stadium. They begin their daily routine and then start working on projects around the stadium.

Luciana is ready to head out with Strand, Madison and Alicia. Nick stays behind. Nick asks Luciana to bring back a new book for Charlie. Madison, Alicia, Strand and Luciana leave without Nick.

In the car, Luciana remarks that Nick should leave the stadium at some point. Madison notes that Luciana wasn't there when she found Nick and says that Nick just needs to feel safe. Luciana and the group arrives in a deserted town. They split up to find Charlie's family. Strand and Luciana enter a store that has been picked clean.

Luciana predicts that Madison won't go back until she has performed a thorough search. Strand points out that he would not be alive if it weren't for Madison's determination. To this day, he's not sure why she saved him after he betrayed her at the dam. Luciana tells him to ask her when he gets the chance.

Luciana and Strand receive three static bursts and realize that Madison is in trouble. They surround Naomi, who held Madison at gunpoint and she runs to the top of an oil tank and falls through the roof. Madison jumps in after her and helps Naomi fight Infected in a pool of oil. Alicia and Strand pry open the hatch to the tank and kill the remaining Infected.

Later, at night, Luciana finds a copy of "The Little Prince" in the camp. Naomi insists that she's not from the area and doesn't know who led the Infected into the tank. After hearing more Infected snarling, they decide to leave.

Luciana's crew return to the stadium and rams into the Infected with their truck, saving Nick in time. Strand, Douglas and Cole push Nick's truck back toward the stadium. Luciana sees something in the distance and yells at them to ditch the car and get back inside. An army of trucks and campers parks in the lot, refusing to leave until they give them all of their supples.

The next morning, Luciana walks outside and lays: "The Little Prince" by Charlie's RV. She leaves without saying a word. Charlie watches from a window with sadness.

On the road, Luciana and her group hold Morgan, John and Althea at gunpoint. Luciana finds a white "51" flag in the SWAT vehicle and accuses them of belonging to Mel's group. Al insists she doesn't know the significance of the flag, but Alicia orders them to show them where they found the flag. They get on the SWAT truck and drive.

"Good Out Here"

Luciana is shown dring the SWAT truck while Nick, Alicia and Strand hold Morgan, Althea, and John prisoner in the SWAT truck. Al reveals that she only gave them partial directions to the location with the numbered flag. She agrees to provide the rest of the directions on the condition that they tell her their stories. She escapes from her bonds and attacks Nick, causing him to jostle Luciana in the driver's seat. Luciana swerves off the road and crashes. The noise attracts a herd of Infected towards the truck.

John and Al unsuccessfully try to extract the SWAT truck from the mud. Luciana offers to locate a tow truck but demands that she, Alicia, Nick and Strand, who are all now captives, be released. Al cuts their bonds but holds Nick hostage. Morgan offers to stay with Nick while the others find the tow truck.

Luciana leads the group to a service station and points to a truck with wire cable. Luciana's group returns to the SWAT truck and finds it swarming with Infected. John spots an arrow left by Morgan to indicate the direction that he and Nick went. Alicia offers to help tow the truck while Luciana and John look for Morgan and Nick.

Luciana tells John that she once left Nick, even though she loved him. They find Nick and Morgan and the rest of the crew rolls up in the van. After a while, Nick gets shot in the chest by Charlie. Luciana and Alicia come across a bleeding out Nick. Alicia goes after a fleeing Charlie, but she's vanished. Luciana and Alicia tend to Nick, but he dies shortly after. Alicia, Luciana and Strand mourn over Nick’s body.

"Buried"

Luciana rides in the SWAT van with Nick's body. In a flashback, Althea videotapes Luciana as she plunges a knife into Nick's head to keep him from turning. In the SWAT van, Strand informs Althea that his group is ready to tell their stories. Althea turns on her video camera and asks the group how they ended up in their current situation. Luciana explains that everything traces back to one particular day.

In a flashback, Luciana watches Vultures unload supplies outside the stadium. In the SWAT van, she explains to Althea that it had been a couple of weeks since the Vultures' arrival and rations were getting low.

Luciana, Nick, Alicia, Strand and Cole eat breakfast at the stadium. Madison distributes maps of potential supply locations that the Vultures might have missed.

Luciana and Nick drive up to a library. Luciana argues that they won't find any food in the library, but Nick nevertheless goes inside. In the SWAT van, Luciana tells Althea that she went inside because she thought it would be good for Nick. While seaching, Nick finds a cat poster inside the library and looks for books. He argues that people need reasons to stay in the community, besides food. Luciana realizes that Nick is thinking about Charlie. She agrees that they should help Charlie but in a different way.

In the SWAT van, Luciana tells Althea that Charlie was beyond help after she killed Nick. Luciana and Nick's journey continues as they come across a walkers tied to a wall. It is presumably a librarian. Nick puts it down and realizes the human killed himself. Luciana and Nick disagree on what the future can look like. Nearby, Luciana finds a road atlas of the southwestern U.S. She proposes that they pick a random page and then relocate their community to that location. Luciana tells Althea that she should never have opened the road atlas.

Luciana and Nick pick a page in the atlas. Nick gets an idea while looking at the atlas. He returns to the stadium with Luciana and shows the map to Madison. He suggests they range further north than the Vultures to find seeds and fertilizer to bring back to the stadium. Madison agrees.

In the present, Luciana and everyone recalls this day as the day everything at the stadium want wrong because they should have convinced Madison to leave or found a different place to go. They declare that Nick is dead because they wanted to believe the stadium would work out.

John stops the SWAT van. Luciana's group gets out to dig a grave for Nick. Eventually, their shovels hit something. Rather than burying Nick, they have Althea bring them to the spot to dig up a cache of guns. They're planning to kill the Vultures. They ask Althea to drive them, with the promise of showing her how their story ends. Althea agrees.

Luciana's group buries Nick under a nearby tree then loads the guns into the SWAT van. John recognizes Naomi's backpack. John finds the Colt in the backpack and realizes that Naomi is Laura. Luciana and Alicia tells him that Naomi did not make it out and she died at the stadium. John and Morgan choose to stay behind as everyone leaves in the van to go after the Vultures.

"Just in Case"

Luciana, Althea and her group speed toward the Vultures' next meeting spot. Alicia interrogates Althea about the SWAT vehicle's firepower, but Althea makes it clear that she only records events and will not participate in their fight.

In the past, Luciana, Nick and Strand consult the road atlas to find a location that might yield seeds and fertilizer. Luciana asks Strand where he found the car with food. Strand concocts a story and sees Cole glaring at him.

Luciana, Nick and Alicia stride up to Mel as Madison, Strand, and Naomi return to the stadium with plants and fertilizer. Mel and the Vultures vacate the parking lot upon realizing that Madison's group will survive longer than expected.

Back in the present, Luciana and her group wait for the Vultures at their designated meeting spot. They see a van approach. Morgan and John get out of the van. They forces them to their knees. Morgan explains that they warned the Vultures to stay away. A moment later, Mel and his Vultures arrive in their vehicles and face off with Luciana's group. Suddenly, a Land Rover pulls up, and Naomi steps out. John walks toward her. Alicia shoots at Naomi but accidentally hits John stepping in the way. He falls to the ground.

"The Wrong Side of Where You Are Now"

Luciana and her group exchange gunfire with the Vultures. During the shootout, Luciana comes upon Charlie and aims at her. Charlie apologizes and Luciana attempts to kills her, but ultimately shoots Edgar behind her instead, which gives Charlie time to escape. As Charlie leaves with Althea's group, Luciana, Alicia and Strand fire at the truck as it leaves.

In the past, Luciana and others farm and move water at the baseball stadium. Nick points out this food won't be ready for months but the rations will get them through. "Did you ever think we weren't gonna make it?" he asks. Luciana tells him it's better in their home.

In the present, Luciana, Alicia and Strand predict that Naomi is heading for the stadium. Luciana, Alicia, and Strand come up with a plan in the truck before Alicia heads out to finish off Mel.

In the past, Luciana witness Madison exiling Mel out of their home. Luciana, Nick and Alicia inform Charlie that they sent Mel away. Charlie checks in with Mel via walkie then loses reception. Charlie begs Luciana and the other two to help Mel. Luciana stays behind while Alicia and Nick leave the stadium to find Mel, without informing Madison.

Later on, Ennis and the Vultures open the trucks and release the Infected. A massive herd makes its way toward the stadium gates. Madison orders someone to get the irrigation truck then runs toward the gate to help Nick and Alicia. Strand and Luciana join her.

"No One's Gone"

Luciana, Alicia and Strand catch up to Althea's group, with their intentions to kill Naomi and Charlie to avenge Madison and Nick. They open fire on Althea, who fires back. Strand suggests they head toward the infirmary. Alicia hatches a different plan. Alicia takes Charlie hostage and orders Althea to tell Naomi that it’s safe to come out of the tunnel.

Luciana and Strand aim their guns at the tunnel exit. Althea distracts Alicia while John quietly presses the transmission button on the walkie, allowing Naomi and Morgan to overhear Alicia and realize they're walking into a trap. Strand informs Alicia that Naomi has not emerged from the tunnel. Alicia sees the walkie next to John and realizes what happened. A fight breaks out and Althea attacks Alicia. After a while, Morgan convinces Alicia not to kill Naomi and relinquishes the weapon. Alicia breaks down in tears, finally bring peace between the two group.

In the past, Madison tracks down Luciana, Strand, Alicia and Nick at a motel. Strand sees the ramen in her truck. Madison brings Strand and the others to the stadium. She vows to build a new community and bring in survivors.

In the present, Althea drives the SWAT van with Strand's group on board. Althea asks what happened to Madison. Alicia tells her to pull over. Luciana, Strand, Alicia, Althea, Morgan, June, John and Charlie sit around a campfire. Althea begins filming and asks what happened at the stadium.

In a flashback, Luciana, Strand and Madison kill Infected to clear a path between the vehicle and the stadium. The stadium residents flee, but the Infected overcome the stadium residents as they try to escape. Madison lights a flare and leads hundreds of Infected inside the stadium. Unable to escape through the tunnels as there are still too many Infected outside, she locks the gate and lights the oil-soaked herd on fire. Nick and Alicia sob as they drive away from the inferno with Luciana and Strand.

In the present, Luciana's group tells Althea that Madison killed herself to save them, causing everyone to break down in tears over the story. Althea lowers her camera and writes "Madison" on the interview tape. The group eats ramen around the campfire.

"People Like Us"

A month later, Morgan visits a drunk Strand at a mansion and invites him and a depressed Luciana to accompany him back to Virginia. They reject his offer and say their apocalypse road trip days are over. Later, Strand continues his drunken festivities around the house, but a walker has stumbled in and is following the music to Luciana. Strand saves Luciana from a walker that wanders into the mansion living room.

Back at their mansion, Luciana and Strand patch up the breach. Luciana wants to know what they are doing here, though. Strand wants to enjoy being here, but Luciana wants more.

Meanwhile, Luciana finds Charlie sneaking around downstairs of the mansion. Scared and speechless, she sprints into the storm. Luciana then finds that Charlie has left her The Little Prince and races into the storm after Charlie.

"The Code"

While Morgan is on a bridge heading back to Texas to find the others, he hears Luciana's voice saying to travel safe, remembering his last encounter with her before he was heading back to Virginia.

"Blackjack"

After the storm passes, Luciana searches for Charlie in a library, but instead, finds an old man named Clayton trapped in a car crash. Luciana tries to free Clayton from the wreckage but it results impossible. She asks if there's anything she can get him and he tells her he'd love to have one last beer. "You're going to get one," she promises and leaves him with a walkie before heading out. On the road, Luciana searches for beer everywhere but doesn't find anything.

Luciana radios Clayton and tells him that the beer run was unsuccessful. Clayton tells her that in the past he used to be apart from people that cared about him because of his job and now he regrets it, but he is making up for it by helping other people. He tells her she doesn't need to worry and that she'll help someone else. Suddenly, Luciana discovers the box Morgan had left on the road, with a beer left inside and smiles in joy.

Luciana returns to Clayton with the beer and he happily tells her he's glad she didn’t give up. She explains she couldn't do anything for someone else in his last moments and she won't let that happen again. Clayton gleefully takes a sip, thanks Luciana, and instructs her to take his supplies in the back of his car. She asks what job he used to have and he tells her he drove trucks, before passing away in the car.

Luciana constructs a memorial in his honor and then radios the channel written on the box, thanking them for helping. Morgan radios back asking if that's Luciana to which she reacts in surprise. On the road, Luciana is picked up by Morgan and his group and continue on their way. Luciana gives Morgan Clayton's journals, which have locations on several stashes of supplies, and tells him that Clayton would be proud. Suddenly, they are contacted by Charlie and Alicia on the radio.

Alicia tells them she found the channel from the box. Morgan tells her to wait at the mile marker and that they are gonna pick them, when suddenly, Martha radios both of them and warns Morgan of not taking her advice to stop leaving the boxes.

Morgan tells her he'll continue to find the people they're looking for until they find and help her. Sarah spots Althea's SWAT truck appear behind them. Panicked, Morgan radios Martha to ask what she's doing and she tells him, "You lose people... You lose yourself." Morgan tells the group to get down just as the woman pulls the truck beside them, opens the gun hatch and opens fire.

"MM 54"

Luciana and the others slowly get up after the gunfire stops. Morgan notices leaking fuel and says they need to get out of the truck immediately. The SWAT van stops. Althea guesses that Martha used up all the ammo.

Luciana, Morgan, Althea and June get out of the truck. Althea goes after Martha with a knife, but falls back as Martha emerges from the back and releases a zombified Quinn onto June. Wendell shoots Martha in the chest and Morgan puts down Quinn before June can get bitten, when suddenly, the truck explodes and attracts a herd from the woods. Martha smiles and drives off in the SWAT truck as the group flees.

Luciana and the others walk along the road with the herd in pursuit. June insists on checking everyone's injuries from the shootout. Luciana and Althea are in bad shape, and Morgan spots a sign for a hospital. Jim wants to keep moving, but Morgan insists they won't ever get ahead of them. The group declares he is wrong for abandoning them, but he blames Morgan for their situation. He changes his mind, however, when he sees the herd getting closer.

At the hospital, after the herd breaks through the front door barricade, Morgan leads the group onto a floor that is clear of walkers. They barricade the stairwell entrance. Morgan suggests they secure the other stairwells.

Luciana informs the group via walkie that the barricade won’t hold much longer. Morgan suggests they take the elevator to the roof. Althea and Sarah look for generators to start up the elevator. Luciana, June and Wendell flee as the walkers break through the barricade.

Luciana's group flees the doors. Everyone meets up at the elevators. Althea almost has the generators on and walkers are closing in. The lights come on and everyone hops in the elevator as the walkers crowd the closing door.

On the roof, Luciana is shocked to discover Jim has been bitten.

"I Lose People..."

Luciana and the group, except for Jim, venture back into the hospital to locate Althea. Instead, they find Althea's note telling them she's going to try to escape, along with instructions on protecting her tapes if she dies. Morgan leaves to find her while Luciana and the rest stay behind.

Back on the roof, Morgan tells Luciana and the group that he'll find a way to distract the walkers below to let the rest escape.

Morgan tosses a walker off the ledge an onto a car, attracting the walkers away from the hospital entrance. "Momo's a goddamn genius", Sarah beams as she and the rest escape into the ambulance. June radios Morgan to follow them, but he tells her to go without him and stays on the roof with Jim.

After a while, June radios Morgan again, this time she's with John and the others in the SWAT truck. Alicia and the others chime in on the radio, telling him they're going to save him. Morgan looks down and sees their plan: a fire truck. Inside, Martha warns Luciana she should leave because this won't end well, but she ignores her.

While Morgan tosses his stick down and gingerly begins climbing down the building, Luciana, June and Alicia draw a herd of walkers and barely make it back to the fire truck alive, only to find Martha missing.

As the group gets surrounded by walkers, Jim decides to sacrifice himself to save them. Before he does, he radios Sarah the recipe for his beer. She writes it down, Jim takes a deep breath, and throws himself off the ledge and onto a car, attracting the walkers away from the fire truck.

On the road, Sarah decides they should name the beer "Jimbo's Beerbos" in his memory. Morgan proposes they find Althea and then travel to Alexandria together.

"... I Lose Myself"

After the group finds Al, they sit around a campfire and Morgan describes his plan to pick up more boxes at the truck stop to distribute them en route to Alexandria.

The next day, the group arrives at the truck stop and stocks up on supplies from the store. Outside, Althea loads the van when some walkers approach. Al jumps down to fight them, but is too weak and passes out. Alicia shoots at the herd and then instructs everyone to get inside as the noise will attract more.

Inside, everyone doubles over in pain as more walkers scrape at the windows. June realizes that someone opened the water bottles in the store and poisoned the water. Al deduces it was Martha.

Finally able to communicate, Morgan tells them it's anti-freeze. June tells them the antidote is ethanol and the group hatches a plan to get it from one of the trucks outside.

June and Charlie create a distraction while Luciana and Strand make it to the truck. The walkers turn their attention to them but Althea jumps in her SWAT truck and machine guns the walkers, while accidentally putting holes into the tank and causing the ethanol to drain out.

June updates Morgan on their problem and he tells them he can't lose them. John encourages him and says he's strong with or without them.

Suddenly, Morgan shows up and reveals that he brought a truck of Jim's Augie's Ale, saving the day. The group drinks the beer and regain their strength. Luciana drinks and thanks Clayton for giving her a purpose to live.

Morgan then brings Luciana and the group back to the place he left Martha. He finds her severed arm attached to the police car and sees her turned, walking on the road. He stabs her in the head and then buries her.

Morgan tells everyone he's no longer going to Alexandria. He says that Martha became the person she was because nobody helped her when she needed it and that more people need help.

The group arrives at Clayton's supply factory and Morgan says they should follow his path and help others. Alicia says it can't just be about boxes, they need to build something like Madison would want. Strand, however, questions where they will find people. Althea suggests they can start with the people she interviewed. Luciana tells Wendell and Sarah that they should stay to make up for stealing Clayton's truck.

Shortly after, Luciana and Charlie open the gates as the group mobilizes a convoy of vehicles outside the factory. They load up on ammo and head out. Morgan gets on his walkie and broadcasts that they are coming to help anyone who might be in need.

Season 5

Four months after using the denim factory as a headquarters to distribute the supply boxes, Luciana and the group have had poor luck in finding or recruiting other survivors, with many of the people interviewed on Althea's tapes dead or missing.

"Here to Help"

Luciana and the group flies on a plane after hearing a message on radio from someone named Logan. However, the plane crashes in the middle of the woods on an unknown territory. Inside the plane, Luciana wakes up pinned by a pole. She gets help from Dylan and Max as Morgan kills the walkers outside.

June eventually makes it into the fuselage to look at her. Then, Althea and John enter with some hacksaws, which they use to cut her free. They place her on a stretcher and Althea hands Alicia her weapon.

Alicia takes the lead but a truck rushes in with Annie driving. Max says it's their sister so they all pack in the van and leave. On the road, Annie says walkers are the least of their problems. "You have no idea where you landed, do you?" She asks them mysteriously and says she stays away from this area but got stuck there recently. Morgan says they're trying to help a man they met on the radio named Logan, who claims his place got surrounded. Annie stops the van and says the place is worse than it seems.

They arrive at a gate comprised of walkers chained together with their own intestines. The tree above them has walker heads hanging from the branches. Annie says they're all over the area and she refuses to drive through. Morgan says they'll walk and Annie reminds him he doesn't even know this guy, but Morgan still wants to try. Annie warns he better be worth it as Alicia cuts down the fence and they ride on through.

Later, the group arrives at a truck stop to look for Logan but find the place empty. They carry Luciana inside as John and Althea inspect the place. Morgan tries to reach Logan on the radio to no avail. Meanwhile, June prepares to help Luciana. Dylan asks her why people would need toys and what trucks do. She explains to him about Clayton's mission to keep hope alive with boxes and how they want to keep his legacy alive.

Alicia reports that no one's here and that something must be up. Annie gets spooked and tells her brothers they need to leave now. Alicia tries to calm them down but Max points his rifle at her and warns them to leave soon. The kids leave as June pulls the pole out of Luciana's shoulder.

A while later, Luciana recovers when suddenly Morgan gets a radio call from Logan. He says he is the "L" in "C&L" which is the logo on all of the trucking equipment. He admits he never shared Clayton's world view and he made them fly to the furthest truck stop he knew of so they could take over without a fight. Alicia reminds him they crashed a plane to help him and Logan says he is just trying to reclaim what's his instead of hurting them. He cuts off communication and walks away.

"The Hurt That Will Happen"

At the truck stop, Luciana is patched up by June. She claims she wants to heal so she can learn to play the accordion due to the pain killer drugs. John returns to tell them Morgan and Alicia headed north and they should head south, while Luciana should stay at the station. He gives her one of his revolvers for protection.

That night, Luciana makes contact with Strand and informs him that she was injured and Althea is missing. Strand informs her that the man with the plane is going to help them. She then hears a noise nearby as the radio feed cuts out. She heads outside and radios the group, telling them they are getting a plane from Strand and that the long-range antenna was taken out by the wind. June orders her to go back inside just as walkers start to surround the truck stop. Luciana tries to take aim but her injured shoulder prevents her from shooting them. She hobbles away to the barn and locks herself in.

A while later, the group arrives and awakens Luciana, who is still drugged and scared that the dead are waiting. Outside, they find the heads hanging from a billboard.

"Humbug's Gulch"

Luciana and the group kill several walkers barriers on different roadblocks in an attempt to find Althea as they cross off circles on a map, forming a perimeter.

On the road, Luciana finishes marking the locations on their map. Alicia apologizes to her about her injury, but Luciana says she doesn't feel bad about it. Alicia then overhears the kids talking over the radio, with Dylan giving away their location. She tries to talk to them but the feed cuts off and they decide they need to find them. However, their car pops a tire and swerves into a ditch. They investigate and find makeshift spikes laid out on the road.

Later, Morgan catches up with them on the road and encourages them to keep trying to contact the kids. Alicia radios them again and tells them about losing her mother and how she relates to them. They don't receive a response, so they head out.

That night, Luciana, Morgan, and Alicia arrive at Humbug Gulch town. Dwight walks up and calls out to Morgan. Luciana and the group are shocked that they know each other. Dwight explains his mission and tries apologizing for what happened with the Saviors, but Morgan assures him they can talk later. "We're trying to start over," he explains. Alicia asks Dwight about the walker barricades, so Dwight takes them to one.

On a roadblock, Luciana and the group are about to take it down when Max radios her and says they’re headed to the truck stop. On the way, they find a van stalled on the road. Inside, they find a bloody Dylan crying in the backseat. Alicia tries calming him and asks where Max and Annie are, but he won't answer.

"Skidmark"

At the gas station, Luciana feeds Dylan and gives him a book to read as Morgan tries radioing June, John, and Dwight to no avail. Dylan lies and tells her and the others about a group who created the walker barricades and where their camp is. Luciana decides to stay behind to fix the long-range antenna with Dylan's help.

Luciana begins fixing the antenna and tells Dylan the story behind The Little Prince. She then sends him in to find duct tape, but gets suspicious when he takes too long to return. Later, Morgan and Alicia call Luciana to update her, but Dylan admits his lies and begs them to go to the last place Max and Annie were, fearing that they are in trouble.

A while later, Luciana and Dylan succeed in repairing the antenna, allowing her to make contact with Strand. However, he reveals that the plane's engines were damaged beyond repair. Dylan suggests that instead, the group repair their crashed plane like the protagonist of The Little Prince did. Luciana smiles at this.

"The Little Prince"

Luciana and the group arrive at the truck stop with several parts of their plane. She then listens as Morgan makes a plea to the kids for them to stay together and to help them re-assemble the plane so they can leave the area together. "We can because we've done the impossible before," he says. Luciana reveals they will fly across the mountains together. Dylan steps up and agrees.

A while later, Luciana and Dylan communicate via radio with Strand and Charlie to get instructions on how to build the plane. Annie reminds Dylan they're just here to help their new friends leave so they can return to normal. Outside, Luciana helps around with the plane's construction and watches as one of the plane's propeller blades starts working until it explodes. She then listens as Grace radios Morgan and tells him to prepare his generator for transport, explaining that the plant's second reactor is in danger of melting down and she needs the generator to help buy them time to escape though she doesn't believe that she can stop the meltdown permanently.

After Morgan leaves to help Grace, Luciana watches as Annie questions Alicia about his whereabouts. She tells her its nothing to worry about, but Annie decides that her group will go back into hiding. Alicia tries to stop her but Annie’s adamant, even though her brothers are less willing to leave.

Afterward, as Luciana talks with Alicia about Annie, Strand radios her and tells her they have the propellers. He tells them to look up, and when they do they see Strand and Charlie in Jim’s beer-themed hot air balloon. Luciana gets excited that they are coming to their rescue, until it unfortunately crashes in the radiation zone.

"Still Standing"

At the truck stop, Luciana and the group realizes there's a hole in the plane and they have to find more gas. Al claims she knows a place and goes along with June, while Luciana stays behind to wait for the others.

At night, Luciana reunites with Strand and Charlie as they arrive at the truck stop and update her on the situation. A while later, Annie and the kids arrive. Luciana introduces them to Strand, but gets worried as Annie tells them Alicia's still out there in the woods.

"Is Anybody Out There?"

In a flashback, Luciana and the group takes turns on the radio trying to reach out to strangers who might need help, to no avail. In the present, she and the group wait on the airfiled for the rest to arrive.

Luciana is then radioed by Morgan, who tells her they'll try to lead the herd away as they prepare the plane and runway. She then witness the nuclear plant explosion in awe, making her and the group proceed to get the plane ready to leave. After a while, Morgan radios Luciana to tell everyone to get ready to fly but she says John and Dwight aren't here yet, so Morgan asks them to help him fight the walkers. She and the group then start walking backwards to the plane as the walkers close in. June tells Morgan she made John a promise and they have to get on the plane.

Luciana and the group makes a run for the plane as John and Dwight drive their way past the walkers in Sherry's van. Everyone makes it on the plane safely as a wall of smoke from the reactor fills the runway. Strand and Al steer through it and make it into the open air. She then watches happily as John proposes to June and she accepts. That night, the plane roars toward the dark runway as Wendell fixes the lights at the last second, allowing the plane to finally land.

Luciana is introduced to Daniel and happily hugs Sarah. Suddenly, a woman contacts Morgan on the radio, asking if that was his plane flying overhead. She's seen his boxes and wants his help. The communication cuts out as Logan interrupts the signal and says they need to chat. He pulls up in an old truck as everyone focuses their guns on him.

Logan tells Luciana and the group the gasoline is going bad and that Clayton wrote down an oil rig location. He says if they hand over his journal he'll help them find it. They're skeptical, but he makes the case they won't be able to help anyone without it and suggests they should find it first before his former crew.

"Channel 4"

Sometime later, Luciana and the group formed a convoy to travel throughout Texas to help others and invite them to join their community, while establishing additional outposts to recruit the survivors reaching out to them over the radio.

In an interview by Althea, Luciana explains that the group is doing good by helping others and it's feel like they are made for that kind of mission. She is also revealed to be part of the lead vehicle on supply missions, alongside Alicia and Strand. They map out the roads for the group.

Luciana then radios Morgan to a house to help someone named Tess. She tells them she's waiting for her husband to return with her son's asthma medication but won't come outside because of the landmines. Morgan tells Tess they're recording the experience so they can prove to future survivors that they're legit. Tess explains she hasn't left the house since the onset of the apocalypse and Morgan promises to stay there until her husband returns.

As time passes, more walkers break through the fence and get immediately blown up by the landmines. June then radios Luciana and the group to reveal that Tess's husband died. When Morgan hears the son cry out from the house, he sprints through the yard to get him. However, Althea tells him to freeze inches away from the porch after spoting a landmine next to his foot. Luciana and John join him as Alicia, Strand, and June arrive with the inhaler.

Luciana records Morgan as he radios Tess to get outside and get the medicine to no avail. Morgan promises the group they will have dinner together, when Tess finally emerges from her house and admits her husband isn't coming back. She hands him a clothespin to use as Morgan tells Luciana and the others to back up. He successfully takes his foot off of the mine and once out of range, it explodes. Morgan returns to give Tess and her son the inhaler. Luciana and the group then confess they are proud that the woman stepped out for the first time in two years to help them and they were there to help her.

That night, Luciana and the caravan dine together. She laughs and shares moments with Strand and Charlie.

"Leave What You Don't"

Luciana resides in Tank Town to help keep the place running and functioning properly. She admits to Wendell that she's happy there, but he is growing tired. Suddenly, they hear engines revving and realize is Logan and his crew. The gates are smashed open and Logan gets out of his truck to greet the group. Luciana warns him to stay where he is, but Logan takes a step and tells her to push back because they can't shoot in the tunnel. He's there to take what he needs.

Logan forces Luciana and the rest on their knees. He reveals that he was the cut footage from their tapes that gave him a look at the books that had their location. Luciana says that maybe he'll remember what he used to believe in after reading the journals, but he tosses them into the fire. Logan says that they are prolonging the inevitable and he's also trying to help people. He wants them to show them how to make the gas, but Luciana refuses. Logan is forced to call Rollie for assistance.

After a while, Luciana notices the fire burns bigger and brighter than before. She tells Logan that it's too windy for a fire that big and they won't be able to separate the oil anyway. Suddenly, Dwight and Sarah arrive in Rollie's truck and get out with their guns drawn at Logan. John shoots the walker carousel from afar and radios Logan that he better not try anything. Logan calls John's bluff and says he knows they don't have the guts to kill him. He offers to let the kids go if Sarah and Dwight agree to work for him. Sarah asks for a car and he obliges, so she instructs Annie and the kids to return to the caravan.

At night, some walkers manage to fall off the cliff and crawl. As the fire and walker herd grows larger, Luciana seeks shelter inside one of the trucks with Dwight and Wendell. They then hear as the woman on the radio is told she has to kill herself but is rescued on time by Wes. Later, the rest of the group arrives to help kill the remaining walkers and control the fire.

The next morning, Luciana and the rest of the group reunite with Logan until Doris and the others hold them up at gunpoint. He tells everyone to put their guns down and explains how he wants to continue Clayton's message after all. Suddenly, Logan and his crew are viciously shot and killed from afar by Virginia and her group.

Luciana then listens as Virginia reveals she's been watching them and suggests they could all help each other. She can offer them things they want in exchange for keeping the oil fields running. They refuse so she orders her people to prepare to kill them. Luciana offers to stay to help them make gas if she lets the rest go and Virginia agrees.

"End of the Line"

Luciana is brought by Virginia and her pioneers to the Humbug's Gulch at night to split up the group and have them taken to different settlements. She reassures the children that everything will be alright as they are taken away.
