Lucy is a survivor of the outbreak in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. She was a member of Derick's Group until their demise. She then joined Negan on his quest to go retrieve his wife's remains so he can bury her.
Overview[]
In contrast to her fellow group members who are brutal and ruthless, Lucy seems genuinely kind and friendly. She is used as a decoy to befriend survivors, causing them to lower their guard so her group can rob and kill them. However, she always ends up forming genuine attachments to their targets and begs her group not to rob them. Despite this, Lucy stuck with her group, possibly for a better chance of survival.
When meeting Negan, Lucy does her usual shtick, seducing Negan to lower his guard, but as usual grows to like him. It appears Lucy isn't very respected by her group due to her kindness, as Derick berates her for being soft and even threatens to kill her to get Negan to do what he wants. Although she went along with her group's actions, Negan can see that Lucy is a kind person and invites her to go with him to find his wife's remains so he can bury her.

Nothing is known about Lucy's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Post-Apocalypse[]
At some point, Lucy joined a group made up of two other survivors. Together, they robbed and killed other survivors for supplies. Lucy acted as a decoy and attempted to befriend their targets, in order to extract information about other communities in the area.
Eventually, the group encountered Negan living alone. Lucy began feigning interest in Negan to find out about nearby communities, before he eventually accused her of lying about being alone. Derick and Barry ambushed Negan as Lucy begged them not to kill him, calling him "different" to others they'd killed before. The two don't listen and order Negan to dig his own grave. During the process, Negan attempts to refuse to continue digging, only being swayed when Derick threatens Lucy's life. After the group is ambushed, Lucy watches Negan brutally kill Derick with a shovel, terrifying her. Lucy asks if Negan is going to kill her, but he instead invites her along on his quest to retrieve his wife's remains.
It's unknown if Lucy actually accepted Negan's offer. In Issue 193, Negan is shown laying flowers at a tombstone for Lucille, implying he was successful in his quest, but Lucy is not shown again. Ultimately, her fate is left unknown.
