This lumber yard survivor is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. He survived the apocalypse at a lumber yard.
Pre-Apocalypse

Nothing is known about this man's life prior to or as the outbreak began, beyond that he apparently worked at a lumber yard in Texas.
Post-Apocalypse
Following the apocalypse, this man survived for a couple of years, living in the lumber yard in Texas. However, he began to run out of supplies while the yard became surrounded by walkers. Desperate, the man began writing notes, attaching them to nails and shooting them into the surrounding zombies in hopes that someone would find and rescue him. However, he eventually ran out of supplies and starved to death before any help could arrive.

"People Like Us"
While clearing the fence of walkers at the mansion where she took cover with Luciana and Victor Strand, Alicia Clark found many of the man's notes attached to the walkers and became determined to find and rescue him. Using the initials of the lumber company from the nails, Alicia managed to track down his location and set out to help with Morgan Jones.
Arriving at the lumber yard, Alicia and Morgan found more notes asking for help pinned to logs and determined that they were coming from a nearby window.
