Mandy is a red-handled machete that appears throughout AMC's The Walking Dead and is the subject of The Walking Dead: Red Machete.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Before the outbreak, Mandy was a regular machete that was once sold at Gerald's Hardware.
Post-Apocalypse[]
The machete was retrieved by a young man from a hardware store while fleeing walkers, but he was swiftly devoured after stabbing a walker through the stomach. The machete would later be recovered by David and given to one of his daughters, Mandy, who he named the machete after. Eventually, Mandy the machete was stolen by Derek, who wrapped the handle in red tape. After his death, Mandy ended up in the hands of Joe, the leader of the Claimers. After Rick killed Joe, he took possession of Mandy for himself, ultimately using it to brutally kill Gareth. Mandy was stolen by the Saviors with one taking it and fleeing though he was killed in the process. It later ended up back in the hands of Mandy, who left it sticking in the grave of her father and sister, before it was then retrieved by an unknown survivor.

- Mandy is named after one of it's owners whose name was carved into it.
- Mandy is a DLC weapon in the Deluxe Edition of The Walking Dead: Onslaught, where it's name is revealed.
- Mandy is one of five weapon of choices in The Walking Dead universe given a name by it's user. The others being Danny St. John naming his rifle "Charlotte", Molly naming her ice pick "Hilda", Negan naming his baseball bat covered in barbed wire "Lucille" (along with their TV Universe counterparts), and Louis naming his chair leg "Chairles".
