Maria Lu is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is a vendor at El Bazar.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known about Maria Lu's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she lived in Mexicali, Baja California.
Post-Apocalypse[]

"The Diviner"[]
Maria is at the market at El Bazar with a few of her associates when she is approached by Madison and Qaletaqa in search of water. She scoffs at their request of 10,000 gallons of water, stating that she can gather up half of that. When she is presented with a tube of gold coins, she is impressed but states that she will need more to get that amount of water for them. When she sees Madison about to get involved with Proctor Nineteen, who is arresting Strand, she informs them she does not make deals with those who are in trouble with any of the Proctors. The next morning, with the deal re-established, she meets Qaletaqa outside with her water tanker but is disappointed when Qaletaqa fails to deliver on his promise of more gold.
