Maria Santos is a character mentioned in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is the ex-girlfriend of Christopher Manawa.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Pomona, Los Angeles County, California[]
Maria is assumedly born, grew up and lived her life in Pomona. When she was studying in a school in the city, she fell in love with her schoolmate, Christopher Manawa, and they started a brief relationship that lasted for a few months. Unfortunately, her boyfriend was eventually moved away to Los Angeles City and changed his school. The relationship was terminated since then.
Post-Apocalypse[]
"Blood in the Streets"[]
While chatting with Ofelia on the deck of The Abigail, Chris mentioned that he lived in Pomona before moving to Los Angeles and talked about his relationship with Maria when living there.
As half of the United States quickly fell to the undead, Maria's fate remains unclear. It is unknown whether she was able to survive the outbreak or was killed and/or reanimated into an undead.
