Marianne Williams is a survivor of the outbreak in Skybound Entertainment's Comic Universe. She is a minor character in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead and Image Comics' The Walking Dead. She is a resident of Woodbury, alongside her son Matthew.
She is described as a woman who "once stopped traffic with her olive-skinned French-Canadian beauty, her hourglass figure, and enormous blue-green eyes. A decade and a half of hard housework and single parenting took its toll on her looks, and the plague times deepened the lines around her mouth and eyes."

Almost nothing is known about Marianne's life before or as the outbreak began. Except the fact that she was once a very attractive woman. She has a son named Matthew, and became a single parent for a decade and a half which took a toll on her looks. She may have lived in or near Woodbury before or during the outbreak.
Post-Apocalypse[]
The Fall of the Governor - Part One/This Sorrowful Life[]
Marianne appears when her son has a fever. She goes to Dr. Stevens and supposedly schedules an appointment with him.
The Fall of the Governor - Part Two[]
The next day, she tells Austin Ballard about her encounter with Dr. Stevens, and later her son is treated by Bob Stookey.
After the Governor is killed and the six surviving members of his army return after attacking the prison, Marianne hears the news about their former leader's true nature. After Lilly Caul takes the position of leadership in Woodbury, Marianne is one of the twenty-nine remaining survivors, being among the seven remaining women.

Since Marianne stayed behind in Woodbury, she was likely killed by the walkers that overran the town when the Church group blew the gates to Woodbury if she did not escape, as it was shown only few residents survived by escaping onto the courthouse roof.

- The Novel Series state that Marianne's last name is Dolan, however, comics state it's Williams. This is most likely an error or it could be her maiden name.
- Marianne is the first Canadian character in The Walking Dead franchise.
