After the outbreak, Markus lived in the Pig Farm along with Emma and other unnamed survivors. It is soon revealed that Markus has cannibalistic habits and has bodies of deceased survivors stashed in the farm.
Emma soon betrays Markus and joins Hero Player's group. After zombified Benjamin attacks Markus, he is never seen again. It is unknown if Markus is bitten by Benjamin or not.
