Matt is a character first encountered in Issue 176 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a resident of the Commonwealth and runs the bakery.
Pre-Apocalypse
Location Unknown
Nothing is known about Matt's life prior to or as the outbreak began, it is possible he was a baker as this is his current profession at the Commonwealth.
Post-Apocalypse
Volume 30: New World Order
Not much is known about Matt, although then he is a member of the Commonwealth and runs a bakery. Pamela Milton takes Michonne to his bakery where Michonne's daughter Elodie works.
Rest In Peace
Matt is seen in the crowd of Commonwealth residents that have gathered for Pamela's speech.
Matt isn't seen or mentioned in the 20-25 year time-skip leaving his fate unknown.
