During Gabriel and Aaron's game of Russian Roulette, Mays reveals that even after saving his brother and his family countless of times, he caught his brother stealing the last of his food and that he was dealt with. After finding Mays' hideout, Gabriel and Aaron find his brother, chained up. He reveals to the two that at some point, Mays made him and his family play the game. When Gabriel goes to unlock him, he snatches the gun from him. Gabe and Aaron attempt to talk him down, and Mays's brother has one last look at his family's corpses before killing himself.

- According to showrunner Angela Kang, in a behind-the-scenes feature on AMC+, Mays' nameless brother likely killed his own wife and child so he could live. As a result, Mays chained him up to live with his decision.
- He and Mays are the second set of identical twins encountered in the TV Series, the first being Hilda and Midge.
