“ | My old man was a real prick. Used to put his cigarettes out on me'n Daryl. Spare me your tears -- made me the fine upstanding man I am today!
|

Merle Dixon is a survivor of the outbreak and a determinant former antagonist in GameMill Entertainment's The Walking Dead: Destinies. He is the brother of Daryl Dixon. He determinately serves as the secondary antagonist of "Woodbury" or the primary antagonist of "Welcome to the Apocalypse", "Woodbury", and "Fear the Living".
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Georgia[]
Not much is known about Merle's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he had a father and a younger brother. When Merle and Daryl were younger, their father would put his cigarettes out on them, though Merle doesn't hold it against him as it made him the man he is today.
Post-Apocalypse[]
After the outbreak occurred, Merle and Daryl joined a small group just outside of Atlanta. One day, he volunteered to go on a supply run with fellow group members Glenn Rhee and Theodore Douglas.
Welcome to the Apocalypse[]
"Guts"[]
Merle gets into an argument with T-Dog for the former wasting ammo by shooting at walkers on the rooftop and drawing more near. The argument quickly turns physical, due to Merle's racism. It ends with Merle on top of T-Dog, holding him at gunpoint, as T-Dog begs someone to do something.
In-Game Decision[]
Rick Grimes can choose to try to defuse the situation calmly or handcuff Merle to the roof.
Defuse the Situation (Alive): Rick hold Merle at gunpoint and make him get off of T-Dog. This infuriates T-Dog and he refuses to go anywhere with Merle. Glenn will tell Rick to give them a minute to cool off and the two will leave T-Dog and Merle alone. As they do, Merle kicks T-Dog down and handcuffs him to the roof before leaving. T-Dog curses Merle that he better pray if he ever gets loose.
Handcuff Merle (Alive): Rick will hit Merle with the butt of his gun and handcuff him to the roof before he, Glenn, and T-Dog all leave.
"Life Worth Living"[]
If Rick chooses to defuse the situation, Merle will return to camp with Rick and Glenn, where he is confronted by Dale for abandoning T-Dog.
"Overrun"[]
If Merle was brought back to camp, then a few nights later, the camp becomes overrun with walkers, causing Merle and the rest of the survivors flee to a vehicle jammed roadside.
